In July of 1989, an official sister city relationship was established between Munich, Germany and Cincinnati, Ohio. This marzen style beer celebrates the symbiotic relationship of Munich and Cincinnati through the pairing of American malted barley with German Noble hops. BarrelHouse Oktoberfest is a deep ruby colored lager featuring rich toasty caramel malt flavors with a subdued toffee characteristic. Assertively hopped to maintain a balanced bitterness, BarrelHouse Oktoberfest lager is best enjoyed in liter steins toasting good friends and good times. Prost!
