.One of two beers brewed to mark the departure of our brewer Jake, as he embarks on a tour of Europe in a coffee van. This rich, roasty Export Stout was brewed in collaboration with SALT head brewer Colin Stronge, who was Jake's partner-in-crime when the pair worked together at Buxton. To mark this occasion, the duo felt they had to brew something 'proper'.
ALC 6.2% VOL 440ML
Aroma & Flavour: Deep notes of roasted malt and coffee, followed by blackcurrant and orange, with a whiff of coconut and a toasted teacake base
Body: Full-bodied, rich and oily with a dry finish
Aftertaste: Strong roasted malt bitterness, roast coffee beans and dark chocolate
