Bourbon Barrel Bestowed is an imperial stout aged 10.5 months in Willett Bourbon barrels. When sampling barrels, we were so in love with how these particular ones expressed in the beer that we decided to bottle them without adjuncts.
This is an indulgent beer with a huge candied bourbon presence. It is very full bodied and so dark that it coats the glass. Expect notes of bourbon, dark chocolate, toffee and a hint of oak.
