“Visited February 2018 as part of a birthday trip up to the Redwoods. Last stop of the night in Arcata. Warehouse/business park brewery that has a nicely done tasting room separated from the brewery site. It was dark and hailing outside, so not sure if they normally do outdoor seating, but no one would have been using it that night. Big wooden bar where you order and all the beers listed on the board overhead. These guys have a lot of beers on tap and they cover a pretty wide variety of styles. Beer quality could be better overall, but it's certainly not bad. Definitely worth a stop if you're up in Humboldt.“

“Not even sure they’re still there. Enjoyed the wings here A LOT. Beers were solid, as was the staff. Pool table and bar atmosphere.“

“Interesting little place. Not sure if it has fallen off over the years since the last reviews, but I pretty much walked in, around and then out without having a beer or buying a bottle. If you are in the area and have the time or need some beer now, I guess it is worth checking out. Maybe it was just the day for me.“

“Stopped in last summer on the way down the 101. Nice little brewery/pub with food truck out back. Lots of locals with a friendly atmosphere. Service was helpful and welcoming. They had a broad selection of house brewed beers and all were decent but nothing mind blowing. Worth a stop if passing through.“

“Nice little brewpub worth stopping at when doing a west coast road trip. Beer quality is pretty decent, with competent service. Prices are very good and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Good little spot for a decent brew.“

“Really solid tap room. In an industrial area in Arcata. Cosy, warm feel. Had some sort of folksy indy music on that night. Mostly College Students in the tap Room. Friendly service and no food available . Beers are mostly malt forward. Had the Imperial Golden ale and the single hop Simcoe IPA. The IPA was brilliant. More English type beers with their yeast. Good place in extreme NorCal. About 12 taps the night I was there“

“Great beer, cool set up. Some what hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. Front area is comfortable with the rear being slightly industrial with the fermenters etc. Small bar with 5+ tap lines, growlers and merc to go at the bar. Hip, some what friendly crowd, no real beer geeks to chat with.“

“I love this place! It has a great small town feel to it! They service bowls of goldfish and other little cracker type things but no kitchen ie no real food. Kinda hard to find if you don’t know where you are going but once you find it you’ll be glad you did! Great beer and I love their collect of board games and cards!“

“A small production facility in an industrial area. A wonderful place to go with a startling array of malt-forward brews of unusual styles and character. They have an expanding tap room open for small events. Definitely worth checking out if you are anywhere in the vicinity.“

“Really great place to pick up some brews. Surprised to see they also have everything for the homebrewer including hops, live yeast, malt, carboys and cappers. I didn’t find any true rarities like MartinT’s La Folie experience but the selection was very good and the prices were quite reasonable too. Big bonus for the food too. Dolmas, great cheeses, nice fresh baked breads, fresh figs... fantastic picnicking to be picked up here.“

“Fantastic place for beer. A few rarities and things I just can’t find anymore like Bigfoot 2011. Great assembly of well kept bottles most of them chilled. A few tap selections. Also some shirts, hats and whatnot. The owner clearly knows his beer. Just a quick note: the address is a problem for both RateBeer mapping and my Garmin GPS. It’s at the bottom of the hill on the corner.“

“I love this place! It’s got an amazing beer selection with a lot of beers I can’t find anywhere else. You can grab a six pack or 22 of one of their hundreds of choices and drink them there with your lunch. Great place and friendly staff.“

“Standard grocery store, but a pretty good beer selection for the area. Good to grab some bottles if you are in the area. Nothing too rare.“

“Visited this place twice on my vacation, just because I could walk to it. Decent selection of NorCal beers, service wasn’t great. Still an entertaining bar to be at, and I enjoyed it. But don’t expect to much.“

“This Co-Op reminded me of the one in Brattleboro, VT. Lots of local goodies and a great beer selection to boot. I even found some La Folie here, which was a total surprise! There aren’t too many good bottle shops in far northern California, but this Co-Op will easily quench your thirst for quality craft brews.“

“What a wild little town Arcata is! The eclectic crowd you see walking about the small downtown area will be hanging out in and around this bar which has quite a few taps of Northern California goodies. They even had brews from the brand-new Redwood Curtain Brewery in town. I can’t say I really found the place to be an amazing craft beer destination, but when in the area, it surely is one of your better options if you want a good variety of NoCal brews.“
