74 /100 236 N FEDERAL HWY #104 Nice hipster brewery near Dania Beach. Good place to go after hanging out at the beach though, or could probably even make it here during a long layover given how close it is to the airport. Inside has some colourful alcoves and outside some nice tables on grass. Despite them saying "unconventional" on their menus, this brewery is pretty conventional to modern trends. They do smoothie sours, hazy IPAs and desert stouts with few exceptions. The stouts are really quite good and the smoothie sours are nice too if that's your thing. All beers available in 4oz pours at $4 a pop. Food menu looked good but I didn't indulge. I can bet a lot of people will rave about this place - I'm just a little bit over the haze craze. They did have some choice guest beers on tap as well. Service was a little on the grumpy side but they seemed overworked. |
72 /100 The Field Irish Pub (Restaurant) 3281 GRIFFIN RD South Florida has a lot of Irish pubs but this is one could have been transplanted from Ireland. Irish folks work and drink here. The food is excellent. The craft selection is limited but you will mostly want to drink the Irish beers and cider. |
