“Lovely spot in Eugene, in the city. Parking available. Small, but open, comfortable. There was food available, but did not tyr it. Solid lineup of brews, all styles, including lots of lagers and German styles. Easy goin, really liked this place.“

“Drove to Eugene specifically to visit here and get some special de Garde bottles. Tight space, but packed floor to ceiling. Taps too. Smaller than average, but all high quality stuff.“

“Rather small place down an alley. I actually had difficulty finding the place. Walked completely around the block before I found the alley. There is limited onsite parking. Mostly long benches with a few tables. Brewing operations behind some class to the right. Good music playing. Food available which seems to be season, local and very limited but good. Decent selection of beers. Mostly malt forward beers but a regular changing lineup which is nice.“

“Small space compared to Oakshire and Hop Valley. 10 beers on tap with about 7 being some form of pale ale or IPA. No food, so both Hop Valley and to a lesser extent Oakshire are better options. I thought it was okay. I guess I could come back.“

“I’d imagine this place cost a lot to heat. First it’s pretty large and open. Second, the temp would make my beer fridge blush. Overlap, the service was efficient and quick. Food come in the form of about 1-4 food trucks dependent on time of day. The beer is okay but covers a large style range.“

“Kind of felt like a hunting cabin, heaps of animals on the wall, service was better than average, food list looked good but what I got was so so. Beer selection was solid. Enjoyed it but not the best“

“Stopped in here on a rainy evening while exploring the area. A smaller bottle shop but with a well curated selection. The tap list was varied and interesting with multiple sizes available. Service was decent but it seemed the employee’s friends were there and she didn’t pay us all that much attention because of it. Not really a big deal just mildly frustrating. Anyhow, a very nice shop with good beer. Nothing wrong with that.“

“A small and quiet shop with a good selection of bottles, kept mostly warm, and a nice tap lineup. Few people here on a rainy weeknight. A few of the barkeepers friends showed up and service slowed a bit, but still solid. Nothing stands out here but it is a nice stop when in town.“

“We ended up coming here a couple times during our visit to Eugene. A classic brewpub style spot. Open and airy with outdoor seating, too. A large selection of beer offered in multiple sizes. All the beers I had were very good. Friendly and quick service. I could see myself here often.“

“We stopped in here during a bit of a crawl through town. It was rainy and a weeknight so mostly empty. We sat near the bar and chatted up the staff, who were very entertaining and having a laugh at one of the ... more interesting people they were serving that night. Service was quick and friendly with good knowledge of what they were serving. The drinks were all very good quality and served as the perfect rainy evening date spot. This would be a great regular boozer for me. Comfy, cozy, friendly, with good bites and beers. Highly enjoyable.“

“My wife and I stopped in a couple times during our brief stay in Eugene. We had a couple different experiences which averaged out to the score I’m giving it. They offer a large selection of to go/on site bottles in fridges. I liked the organization, made it easy to find what you wanted. The taps are on a large TV screen with descriptions and offered in multiple sizes. There was plenty of indoor seating and some nice patio seating, too. People watching is a thing here as there is apparently a Pokémon Go hangout or something right across the street. Not my thing, but lots of characters for sure. The payment system was dumb; one line for taps and for bottles for on-site consumption, a separate line for to-go bottles. The on-site line is generally stupid long and slow while the to-go line is short and quick. I was told multiple times (sometimes extremely rude, sometimes understanding, sometimes confused why I didn’t enjoy waiting 20 minutes in line for a beer) they sometimes use the to-go line for on-site when the line gets long, but when I was standing at the entrance of the place, 20 people back from the register trying to buy a pint, I think that is a perfect time to open up the other register for on-site. That was frustrating enough to keep me away from drinking there on an even-semi-regular basis. To me, this is only useful as a to-go bottle shop, and it is a nice to-go bottle shop.“

“Located a bit outside the hopping downtown area in a older warehouse looking building along the railroad tracks. You enter into the tap room that’s done up very nice with plenty of wood and metal fittings. Has the classy rustic feel to it. The barkeep explained the ciders and let us have tastes of any of them we wanted. I went with the standard hard cider while my partner grabbed a flight of five (all 5 oz). They have three flight options (3, 5, 7). They also had one beer on tap which was a benefit beer for some local organization. The seating area is fairly small in an old loading dock garage. It was a nice night so they had the garage door up, letting in some fresh air. The seating area was done up nice too, really sticking with the classy rustic idea. We only had one app but it was very tasty. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Large windows open up to the fermentation area of the cidery. I enjoyed our time at the Cider House and would return next time I’m in Eugene. Good cider, good atmosphere, good service.“

“This rating is for the deli location. Flights of 6. Decent food (if you dont get the weird cheese glop on your fries). All of the 14 beers we samples were right down the middle....nothing great, nothing bad. Cool place with a weather theme. 25 cents off on rainy days is a nice touch!“

“Exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Nice airy (on nice days) warehouse taproom. 4 regular beers, 7 seasonal/limited, 1 nitro and 1 cask on tap at the time of my visit. Beers lean to the bold side, which will probably most people reading this.“

“A large and lively facility with multiple places to enjoy your beer. 21 on tap on the evening of my visit, with a preference for APA and IPA styles. Somewhat slow but friendly service.“

“Visited on 10th November 2014. Large typical US brewery taproom, industrial chic in a reasonably sized space. A good range of beers with 15 on tap. Opted for the taster flight which was hop leaf shaped which is a good touch. Beers were decent enough, service good and prices decent. Liked it.“

“Visited on 10th November 2014. Modern tap room alongside the brewery which has a selection of merchandise on display. 10 of their own beers available which came in a 5 beer taster tray which we set about. Decent service. Beer was decent enough but not the best of the trip. A nice place.“

“One of the worst layouts you can imagine for a brewpub. Along with the rustic and dead animal decor it is hard to feel comfortable at the bar. The odd layout ensures service is a bit slow, although they are nice. Huge selection of beers and even some ciders. Flights are a bit pricey, but they give big pours and you can get free tastes. Food was surprisingly good, I had the fried Okra and was happy. With 20+ ticks a nice spot for that and a snack. Beer is all over the map in quality but a few gems.“

“A very nice space that is cozy with a small bar. Lots of attention to small detail and a bit upscale and trendy. Service was nice, unfortunately beer was just average. Some good some bad. Flights were insanely cheap. A nice stop for a few ticks in an area that has lots of breweries.“

“Large open and airy with parking, patio and a large bar. Huge bottle selection for take out as well and lots of taps. They know enough and were very nice. Prices were very good and small pours available. A superb stop that is as good as the hype.“

“Smallish brewpub with no real bar and a decent amount of seating and an area for a patio when the weather allows. Service was good. 20ish beers on tap with flights available. Did not try the food on my visit. Prices were low on the samplers which were nice. A cool spot overall.“

“An interesting tap room a little bit off the main drag. A large space with long bar on one wall and lots of picnic table style seating and a decent sized patio. Bartender didn’t really seem to want to be there but was alright. 10 taps with samplers available. No food on premise but they often have food trucks. Prices were alright. A decent spot.“

“A great brunch spot with a few tap handles but note really a beer destination. A single room spot with a bar off to one side and seating over to the otherside. Our waitress was attentive but service was not beer oriented. 8 beers on tap that were mainly locals. We came for the brunch and it did not dissapoint. Prices were solid. Great food if not really a beer spot.“

“A great beer bottle shop/bar spot. A large open space with a large central bar surrounded by seating, Flat Screen beer boards and a few TVs. Service was good considering it was a bit busy. A nice combination of locals and non-locals on tap with a top of the line bottle selection. Samplers available. Prices were a touch steep but selection was worth it. A great spot!“

“A little brewery that is kind of in an alley off the street. A open narrow spot with picnic table seating and a walk up bar in the back. Service was good and bartender was happy to talk about the beers. They had 12ish beers on tap and samplers were available for a buck. Menu looked decent but I did not try food on my visit. A decent little place.“

“A cool little bar/bottleshop near downtown. A small walk up bar and about 6 tables with shelves of beer throughout the rest of the smallish room. Bartender was attentive considering the decent sized crowd. 10ish beers on tap and a good selection of bottles. No food available and prices were inline with the area. A cool little spot.“

“An interesting two tiered building that has a walk up window rather than a bar. Considering the odd layout, the place has a decent feel. Was there during an Oregon bowl game and place was pretty busy but service was solid. 24 taps of their own beers, ciders and sodas. Beer was solid and menu looked good but did not eat. Prices were low overall. A pleasant surprise right in downtown Eugene.“

“Limited selection of beer, but what they had was very very good. Ok food truck outside, but it all felt a little too industrial. Got the sense that they’re still figuring things out, and when they do it will be a must-go destination when in Eugene.“

“Probably my favorite beers of the "Big 3" (Ninkasi, Oakshire, Hop Valley), but the lack of food somewhat narrow selection are problematic. But the trading cards are a great idea, the merchandise is actually a cut above, and the servers are very helpful.“

“This place was likely cool at one point in time but is now dated and tired. Staff were OK, but bored and didn’t care or push beer. Beer was average and you could get a taster. Food was good pub food with large portions. I wouldn’t go out of your way for this one.“
