“Fairly standard liquor store attached to a grocery store. Few fridges of four packs and mixed packs, with a few local options. A few single bottles, though nothing local, primarily European stuff. Got myself a few WY four packs, so worth the stop, but not particularly exciting.“

“An unusual combination anywhere, but feels even stranger in Jackson. Thai food was surprisingly good. Beer selection was extremely limited due to a cooler failure; the two beers they had also were not great. Almost certainly a much better place than I experienced.“

“Nice clean comfortable indoor space, paired with a large outdoor space with a variety of seating and fire pits etc. Flight available of every single tap beer, given to you on a tray. Food was excellent. Beers were generally good, with a few standouts. Lovely place.“

“Hey (Jude) hey (we’re the Monkees) hey (it’s Fat Albert) hey (smoke weed every day), it’s my 200th place review, finally. Took long enough for me to remember to rate enough. I crank through beer bars like they’re…well…beers. Busy place in downtown Jackson. TBH as a non-idiot, I would like if they were a little better about Covid protocols. They had a door open but that was it. Probably flying Delta Airlines after visiting this place. Nevertheless, the staff are some good guys. They get to your beers and your food. And said beers and food are decent at least, in some cases quite good. In non-Covid times if there ever are such times again, the ambiance is lively and mountain style. Just what you want in Jackson Hole, which, fun fact, is a better place than Jacksoff Hole.“

“Up a flight of stairs just off the town square, this place is an institution (more so when the adjacent Rose was hosting quality live music. This place has decent pizza and a decent beer menu, but nothing to attract serious beer geeks, who would be better served hitting Roadhouse less than a block away.“

“Patty and I stopped in for a quick one while in Jackson. This is a tourist stop worth visiting in Jackson. The square outside is featured in several Westerns, and the saddle bar seats are quite comfortable. Can of Snake River Stout was only $5.75 No kids allowed in here. That was a good thing.“

“We had dinner here while staying in Jackson. Nice big place and a good amount of their beers on tap. We had decent service and the food and beer wee fine. Next time we'll decline to take the table right next to the entry way where everyone walks by. It was crowed for a Sunday with a 45 minute wait.“

“What a beautiful location, outside of town and through a ersidential area, it sits at the bottom of a ski mountain. Wonderful vistas and large, long patio to take it all in. A lot of money went into this place. Beer was average at best, food was available. Probably one of the nicer brweries we stopped in on our ID-WY-MT trip.“

“Visited in the evening, this place was quite crowded. Loudish music, nice modern interior. Good range of Melvin beers, various styles and quality was very good. Tasty food, enjoyed my curry. Prices are a bit high, but I guess that's expected. Well worth checking out.“

“Late night stop, after a long day summiting the Grand via UXR. Open bar area, and great indoor and outdoor spaces for hanging out. Cornhole, fire pits, a huge bar, and odd artwork all over the place. The wait staff was slow, rude, and inattentive, which was a little off-putting. The tap list was nice, and they offered flights. Prices are good for Jackson. The food was reasonably nice, and hit the spot after a long day. A fun stop, and good beer, but not a great experience, unfortunately.“

“This place opened a few months ago on Town Square. I have visited several times and found both the food and beer to be excellent. The vibe is a bit sports bar and gets quite busy sometimes, for good reason. The gleaming brewing equipment is visible through glass window from the two bars and the numerous tables. They have not started brewing there yet, but I am told they will be soon. Of the 30 taps, less than 25 have been active on my visits. I expect that to change when they ramp up production on premises. Meanwhile all there own beers on tap are from their commercial brewery across town. There are now four fine brewpubs in the town of Jackson, and this one has become my favorite.“

“Visited on their unannounced opening and they had quite a crowd. This place is in a new building, built for the brewpub, and it is beautiful, with an incredible full-on view of Snow King Mountain. Their beer list was a bit limited, but should expand quickly. The beers were all solid, with the Belgian Strong Ale being a standout. Friendly owner, good vibe and a stellar view - what’s not to like.“

“First of all - great beers, no question about that. And friendly service. As we were with our kids we were directed to the hot side wing to eat alone. However the food was tasty. Flights of 8 beers (or less) available. They had 11 of their beers on tap. “

“Visited July 2017, group of 5. Some doubts about the ambiance here: as noted before, the place was fragmented. Our (rather small) table was in an area with tv (turned on at high volume) and bar, lots of passers-by. Too bad we didn't get to sit in the dining area. Service was quick and helpful, though. Selection is small, but you can get a flight of six (a delight for any foreign beer ticker). The burgers were very tasty and one of us might have had his best dessert ever (some kind of deep fried dumplings with syrup). Food is a tad overpriced, but all in all, no big complaints.“

“This place opened last summer in an historic building (former movie theater) just off Jackson Town Square. As a former theater, the ceilings are high, and the space is a bit cavernous. But the open hearth pizza ovens are prominently displayed, which adds a nice warmth to the place. The 12 draft are almost entirely local craft beers. The only macros are in the small bottle/can menu. The pizza is terrific too.“

“Located in the Snow King Resort, this place has a modern ski lodge ambiance, with a fireplace and big screen TV's inside and decks overlooking the slopes outside. The beer list features some craft beers on draft and in bottles, along with macros. Not a beer destination, but still worth a visit.“

“Your basic sports bar, but with quite a few taps, many of which were micros from Western states, but nothing that really stood out. A full plate of nachos was enough for five of us while we watched a Sunday NFL game.“

“Pretty typical small brewery, in a light industrial area of Jackson. The tap room features one long table with a few stools. On my visit it was SRO around the table. Big windows provide a clear view into the brewing room. Everything advertised as being on tap on line was available. Good beers available in flights of four. Free pretzels on the table and limited food menu from the related catering business across the parking lot.“

“Last stop of the evening. I almost did not stop in, but I am glad I did. Home of what USED to be the best beer in Wyoming (Zonker) before Melvin came along. They had 10ish tap beers and offered flights of six. Pretty busy, but seats were available at the bar. Helpful service, attentive and knowledgeable. I managed to dump one of my tasters on the bar, and he happily replaced it and helped me clean up my mess. Did not try the food, but heard good things. All in all, this was my favorite Jackson stop. The beer was a tad better at Melvin, but the experience was better here.“

“For some crazy reason I did not notice that this was Melvin Brewing until I walked up. Thai Restaurant / Brewery is a really cool concept that I wish there were more of. Pretty damn busy on a Friday night, but I found a spot at one of the high bar areas. Flights available, pricey indeed, but given that you are in a rich kids resort town its not surprising. I was not overly impressed with the service. My guy was a stereotypical skier dude who kept forgetting me. One of the beers blew for my flight and it was literally 45 minutes before I got a replacement. Did not try the food, but I am a fan of Melvin's hoppy stuff, so I was happy with my beer.“

“We got there early, and it was pretty empty. Simple, open restaurant, with the main decorations being huge prints of Melvin promo posters. The servers were prompt, gave excellent advice, and were very friendly. A daunting spread of Melvin beers, which is lovely. $12 for a flight is a bit pricey, to me, and the pint prices were pretty high, too. We had burgers, which is odd for a nominally ’Thai’ restaurant, but they were pretty tasty. This is a fun place, and the beer is very good, which is wonderful, especially given the location.“

“I went to this bar a few times before moving to Jackson Hole and before rating beers. Even back then I was a bit turned off by the kitsch, and there were better bars available (including the Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort if an authentic Western bar is what you crave). With the growth in tourism, this place can pack them in. But for craft beer, veer a little to the right and sit at the sleek bar at Local Restaurant and Bar and choose from a rotating list of craft beers (mostly local breweries). Sure there will be some tourists there too, but not like the Cowboy.“

“Had my heart set on Thai Me Up, but those dudes don’t open until 5:00 pm and we still had 5 hours of driving ahead of us. Luckily, these folks had Melvin cans, which was enough to make me (and my wife) happy. Place is attached to an Albertson’s (thanks for that detail, phaleslu). Beer selection looked small, but I was on a mission and didn’t give it thorough look. Didn’t strike me as anything special as far as a destination goes, but for all I know it’s the best shop for miles around. Definitely met my needs at any rate.“

“Stopped in on my way through town yesterday. Spacious interior split on two levels, and between 21+ and family seating. We sat outside on the small patio, got some food and a few samples. Samples were $2/5oz, and offered on all 8 of the taps they had. Beers were fine -- nothing to write home about, but I’d be happy to drink a pint anytime. Food was okay. No idea how it compares to the rest of the area since we were just passing by, but pretty solid place overall and you could do a lot worse for a brewpub in a resort town.“

“One of the few places to grab a good set of brews in Jackson. It’s not great, but it’s one of the best around, so deal dude. They tend to hoard the 50% range crap, and I’m like, "You fools! I want me some top 3% shiznit up in this piece!" THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE CANTILLON WTF. What they did have were some growler fills, a decent selection with SOME available as singles, lots of Rocky Mountain region shizz, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Utah. Service is good and they gave me a bunch of wine tastings for free, but the downside of wine you may not realize is that it’s not beer. Ambiance is normal, but who cares, I just wanna tick!“

“Good Thai food and great house beers? Sign me up. They offer flights of 4 at a time. They had about two dozen taps with about 6-9 of those being house-brewed Melvin beers. The beers I tried were all average to very good. I ordered the General Thai’s chicken and really enjoyed the spiciness. Prices were fair for Jackson and the bartender was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop here again.“

“Pinky G’s Pizzeria is tucked back in a little mall area just off Broadway in downtown Jackson. It’s a tight-seeming space with more seating room than you’d initially notice. I actually didn’t spot any taps here, but there are plenty of local bottles and cans, so we ordered some of those. The pizza is great. There’s not a ton of beer to be had, but you’ll find something local or regional you haven’t tried before and get a great slice or pie while you’re at it, all within a friendly, fun place. Definitely worth a visit.“

“The Liquor Store & Wine Loft is actually attached to an Albertson’s grocery store in Jackson. There’s a separate entrance, although I did see a small door in the grocery store itself. You have to check out separately, which seems to be influenced by a goofy state law or something (just a guess). There’s plenty of wine in the loft area and a decent beer selection for a grocery store. Lots of regional cans and bottles in packs, some singles/mix-a-six - which was actually one of the better deals - and a small section of large-format bottles. The prices struck me as very high, but I did build a couple six packs for about $10.50 apiece. I’m not sure I’d recommend it, but I can’t vouch for the other options in town. I might try Bin 22 or something like that next time.“

“Snake River Brewing is a large brewpub on the fringe of downtown Jackson. The place is really divided up inside, with a busy host stand, bar area to the right, mezzanine for dining, and another dining area (I think; it’s pretty fragmented). It’s all white painted metal beams with light colored wood flooring and furniture. There were some small TVs in the bar area, so we could watch the Women’s World Cup semifinal. They had 8 house drafts plus 1-2 on cask. The beers were average, and so was the food. The beer is a good price at $5/pint, but the food is overpriced for what it is. Common for the area, I guess. The server was friendly but overwhelmed, and then their credit card system went down for 20 minutes or so as we tried to leave. So that part was kind of a pain. Having gone to Thai Me Up the day before, there was no way this place was going to measure up to that standard. But it’s a solid brewpub, maybe a little dated in terms of philosophy and decor, but there’s also a reason they’ve been successful for a long time.“

“Thai Me Up is in downtown Jackson, which is all really walkable. It’s got a sign you can’t miss with an elephant on it. I’m not sure why their brewing operations are now under the name Melvin, but whatever. The place to those who don’t care about beer is a Thai restaurant, and a good one at that. It’s on the pricy side for most Thai restaurants in the country, but not high for the area. However, the light above the bar indicates what the day’s "skid" curry is; if it’s red, the skid curry is red curry, and so forth. That gives you a slightly smaller serving - still plenty for a meal - for $9 instead of $15. So I ordered that to give myself more mental budget room to buy more beers. And I’m glad I did, because the house beer is outstanding. There were 18 listed at the time of my visit, with 2 guest taps and 2 of the 18 house taps just having kicked that day. I wasn’t going to get to them all, anyway. The shitter deserves an A+ rating for the artwork on the walls. I like the attitude and atmosphere here. Great food, great beer, and really unique overall. There’s nothing more I could ask for out here. Absolute must-visit, whether you’re in Jackson for one hour or one week. This place is a revelation.“
