“Go here for the poke, not the beer. Selection was small, underwhelming, they did have a few variants of Fifty fifty at 30$ each, local stuff, but selection is small. Worth the stop for the poke bar on the side, which also serve Hawaii faves like Kalua pork and such.“

“A beautiful and huge brewery in Maui. Visited the Taproom mainly. 25 taps, with a good cross section of what's hot and more standard fare. Good attentive service. Food is pricy but the menu looked good, with Hawaii inspired dishes. Flights available, with 4 ounces pours from 2 to 5$ each. A must in Maui.“

“Awesome brewpub in Kihei, probably my favorite beer stop in Maui. Very large place, ample parking. There is a separate restaurant section with high ceilings, then a bar and outdoor patio. I believe the beer is the same in both spots, but in the bar area there is a limited menu. They had live music in the outdoor patio. Very nice relaxing scene. Huge beer list, their regulars, and a ton of seasonals. They do samplers luckily, which is basically a must with so many beers to choose from. Tons of different styles from sours, ciders, IPA, imperial stout, etc. As I was sitting in the bar area, could only order from the limited menu. Their focus is pizzas though, and mine was delicious. Excellent ambiance, great beers with a wide selection, good food, can't be missed!“

“Decent spot in the Shops at Wailea outdoor mini mall. A nice open restaurant, plenty of seating, open air. They have about 8-10 Waikiki beers on tap (I think just their standard offerings). Beers were decent/average. They open early and I was there for breakfast and also came back another time for dinner. Breakfast was good, had a delicious omelet. As expected, their lunch/dinner food menu focuses on burgers, which were pretty good. Overall, not a place to seek out but if you're in Wailea it's worth a stop.“

“Cool gastropub in Wailea. It's a fairly large restaurant, but gets packed at the dinner hours. I didn't have much trouble getting a seat at the bar though. The tap list is probably the best in the area. They have numerous styles with mostly HI beers. They have tasty cocktails too. The food menu is great, focus on local, fresh cuisine. I had mahi mahi tacos and one of their pizzas, which were excellent. A little pricey, but not crazy compared to other similar caliber restaurants in the area. Overall, a great place not to be missed, good beer selection and great food.“

“Way nicer then the OG location. Quieter & closer, but not on top of the big hotels. Lots of parking. Main tap room has seating in & out, open air, plus ac. Wood & open air warehouse design. Big seating area for the prissy folk. Classic chill r&b & summer old school music. 24 taps, crowler/growler station. Only 2-3 staple beers plus n/a & cider options. No saisons, sours or experimental stuff. Good descriptions of everything. Standard pub fare with a slight nod to fresh & local. Ocean & Kalo island view. Will be back.“

“Classy restaurant upstairs in a strip mall, as so many places in Hawaii seem to be. Parking was a bit tight. Place was jam packed on a Saturday night but I got the last seat facing the open kitchen so I got to watch the pizza guy using the wood fired oven and the pastry chef finish the cream pies. Food selection covers many cuisines. Very tasty but very pricey even by Hawaiian standards - I had a smallish pice of fish and some white rice for $40. Dessert was limited to the aforementioned cream pies and ice cream. Service was OK, slightly brusque at the end as I lingered over my dessert beer - they needed the barstool apparently. Beer list was large (36 taps) but pretty much all flagships. Still, at least there weren't many InBev products. The time to come here is happy hour when the pizzas are $9 (down from $18) and the apps are half price (but still pretty pricey).“

“Also known as Cheeseburger Island Style, this is one of the burger places scattered throughout the islands that's affiliated with Waikiki Brewing Company. So you can get six Waikiki beers on tap here, just in case you're not going to Oahu. If you are going to Oahu, it's better to visit the brewery's taproom on Waikiki, you'll get the small batch brews there. Food here is OK pub food, I actually stopped in for breakfast. It's in an outdoor shopping mall that in itself is worth exploring. Parking is free for an hour, so be quick.“

“Overall a big place, lots of money has gone into it. But the drinking space is small. You enter through the gift shop (points off) and on your right there is a serving bar - no stools, can't really linger there. There are a few tables in the bar room, then some picnic table seating on a covered patio. There are also a few bar tables in the gift shop, which would have been quieter than the 100 decibel guitar player on the patio that drowned out all conversation. They have 22 of their own beers on offer plus ten guest taps, some of which are cider and kombucha. I had the flight of six 5 ounce pours for $13 or $14, I forget, house beers only, with bigger beers off limits. The guest taps were more interesting than my flight. Servers were friendly enough. There was a food truck with OK pizza. Bottom line, a little disappointing, but you still have to com here. Maybe the tour is better.“

“Well, chalk up another place mainly dominated by ABInBev. Only the Torpedo on tap saved me. Food was OK pub food in small portions, better value were the apps during football games. Two loud for me to comfortably chat with staff about other beer places, and the bar is wide and high so staff are far away from you. Back porch is a lot quieter, and that's where the dogs are. Easily skipped.“

“My first stop in Maui. It's also the only Tamura's I've been to on this trip, so I don't have a good comparison yet. In Kihei's two-street "business district." Small but adequate parking lot. Left side is mainly groceries, beer in the back, right side is wine and hard liquor. They have a shelf near the check-out counters for local products including Kohala rum and Volcano wines and mead. Coolers were mainly six and 12 packs of macros and larger craft. Shelf had things like Fifty Fifty Eclipse, Midnight Sun, and Orval from 2015 (since most other place reviews here mention the Orval vintage). Prices are not too bad.“

“Ok, ok, this isn’t a great place in the general scheme of things, but outside of grocery stores like Safeway and Times, this is one of the few places in Kihei at the moment where there is actually a selection of bottled beer beyond the usual stuff. Eventually a Tamura’s will be opening up in town on Lipoa, but as of now that’s still a work in progress. Based on the Tamura’s in Lahaina, I’m sure that will be the top place for beer once they open up. For now, this place has some options, although many of them are old. Big Island bombers (yay!), Hop Concept Hull Melon, Belching Beaver, Stone, Alesmith, etc. Not a lot from any given brewery (other than local stalwarts like Maui Brewing and Kona), and the Belgian selection is warm shelf and old (but at least for the Orval 2013 bottles, that’s ok). So it’s kinda 7-Eleven-ish, but since there’s so little competition in Kihei at the moment, this is certainly worth a stop. Reasonable wine selection upstairs, but honestly the best game in town for wine is Safeway (although Wailea Wine has some higher end, rarer things for sure...albeit no Scarborough dammit).“

“Despite being a large facility, there isn’t really much drinking room. When you walk in, there’s a swag purchasing area dead ahead and an area for events and such (and restrooms) to the left. Head right, and you will find the bar and a small amount of indoor seating/standing spots. Connected to that is the outdoor (covered) patio area, with again a relatively small amount of seating. So it feels a bit cramped despite looking like a very large building from the outside. So despite being on a beautiful island and having a lot of money behind it, hanging out here is not quite as wonderful as I’d expected. That said, though, there are a ton of taps (near 30, all of which were MBC-brewed on my visits, though I’ve heard they do occasionally have guests on), which are almost all either Engish/American styled (pale ales and such) or German styled (even a nice altbier). Only one thing that was vaguely Belgian. And some of those brews are actually quite drinkable, even if none really reach high 3s (and certainly no 4+) excitement. I was happy to find the tap quality better than the cans, which we get here in CO and which have all been pretty disappointing. No food made on premises, but they do have rotating types of food trucks just outside (burgers one day, tacos the next, etc.). On a quiet part of Lipoa away from town, up on a hill, so it’s not walking distance from anything else. Went here many times on my recent trip, and will certainly go again when I return. Monkeypod and What Ales You are certainly worth visits, but this is undoubtedly where I would come more often, and spend the most time.“

“West coast bar. Apparently the bar owner is from Portland and you can tell. Contemporary interior with lots of reclaimed wood, local art, music and plenty of taps on the wall. Almost exclusively west coast and Hawaii beers. A great place to chill and have a beer. I did not eat there so giving them the benefit of doubt.“

“Best place in Wailea/Kihei. 36 good taps. Modern Times, Stone, Racer 5 etc. Amazing food. Highly suggest fish sandwich, hawaii green salad, turkey burger. Fantastic service.“

“Beautiful new brewery and tasting room recently opened in Kihei. This replaces the original old and out of date brewery formally in Lahaina. The building is beautiful inside and out. There is a patio open to the inside with views of the ocean off in the distance as the brewery is up on a hill. Also, wonderful gardens are being constructed outside. Inside the place is very spacious...including the tasting room with 32 taps...some are duplicates...but that’s ok...provides for quicker service. There is often a food truck outside. I was able to try 17 different beers during my recent visit...including a number of specialty beers like Imperial Coconut Porter...aged in rum barrels (12.3%)...and the absolutely fantastic Lorenzini Tangerine & Blood Orange IIPA which was also available in cans (flew 2 home with me!). This place is definitely a "flagship" for Maui Brewing and should take them to a whole ’nother level...a must visit for any craft beer fans traveling to Hawaii.“
