“Local near the cathedral, 8 taps with craft beer from Slovakia and Czechia, very nice ambience, lots of people even on tuesday, looks like a popular place to meet. To eat cheap but tasty toasts. Definetely must see in Kosice.“

“Former Luxor Brewery. Restaurant serving grill food with some taps. Slovak craft, but no it seems there is no roatation and beer ale quite dull. Not tried food but looks tasty. Maybe for a dinner with beer. PS. Adorable staff.“

“Restaurant with about 10 taps, mostly focusing on foreign classics like Paulaner, but some Slovak and Czech craft. Quality is poor unfortunately. Not worth it.“

“Brewpub or rather restaurant brewery in the centre of Kosice. Selection is 6 beers on tap, interesting styles like gose or ipa, the quality is far over average restaurant brewery. Prices are affordable, food is tasty. Must visit in Kosice, great for dinner with beer.“

“Caffe at San Domenico Square in Kosice. Focusing mostly at breakfest, brunch, cakes and caffee, but have a fridge with some Kaltenecker and even Mikkeller or Naparbier. ERB from another opinion is now longer here. Staff in very kind, speaking great English, but have poor knowladge about beer. Very nice place, not for beer though.“

“Nice crowded pub with good tap selection, sadly not packed with "eastern" brews. Still worth a stop but be prepared you won't sit in the evening.“

“Surprisingly nice pub. Sure, it's not a pure beer place but quite okay selection on taps and some 30ish bottles.“

“Wide selection but super slow service. Even though I was sitting right at the bar it took ages to get to the liquid gold. What a pity.“

“Cassovia Centr 3kms south from Košice Old Town, with this beer-station inside. Microbreweries in the region often have their beers available for tap-on-pet here. Half litre pets available. 2019.“

“Found my way here on a late Saturday afternoon. Smallish bar in a courtyard off the main street. Chilled out vibe, chilled out barman, chilled out patio with some greenery, chillout music. 8 taps, maybe not all stellar but hey, they had Matuska Apollo Galaxy and it's extremely rare to go wrong with Matuska. I liked this place a lot.“

“Quite a big place for a craft beer bar, maybe just as big as its younger cousin in Poprad. The ambiance is modern, loft-inspired. Lots of bricks, some wood and more industrial, metallic elements, with a pleasant, warm illumination. 26 taps, though mostly Czech micros and uninspiring western imports. Just 7 Slovak brews during our visit, 5 of which were from the God Times brewery in Svit, for which this bar is technically the taproom. While God Times has a hard time reaching the level of its predecessor brewery Buntavar, the chocolate milk stout was very good. Nonetheless, while this is a very nice bar, it could use more variety on the taps, showcasing the Slovak craft beer scene. Alas for hanging out this is one of the best places in Poprad.“

“Medium sized bar with an "alternative" ambiance and metal music blaring from the speakers; unfortunately not the type of metal I listen to. Two barmaids with an excellent knowledge of English, a small patio with murals in a backyard. 26 taps dominated by Corvus plus small breweries from Lucenec and Presov, as well as a handful of Czech micros. Varied price range, starting with a desitka for 1,20 EUR per pint. Nice place.“

“Medium sized bar with a patio on the main street in the old town of Kosice. Very nice service. A dozen taps or so, with the main focus being on Fuller's. They also serve their "own" brand Seburgi, which is being brewed at Kaltenecker in Slovakia. I guess the imported beers are at the moment the safe option. Very nice place to relax on the patio with a view of the beautiful old town.“

“To get here, you have to leave the lovely old town and go north, where the ambiance is much less appealing. The Corvus tap room is corresponding to the surrounding, as the inside is small and chaotic, very much hospudka-like in the bad sense. In addition, the bald bartender was definitely the most unpleasant person I've come across in this charming city, incredibly dodgy guy. The beer garden is only marginally better than the bar, its main advantage being that it's really huge. Other than that, it looks bad. A concrete covered floor gives way to a weed-infested lawn with occasional dog poop. Old school heavy metal and punk rock blaring from the speakers. Long benches in abundance, lots of people, seems to be a really popular place with the locals. 20 taps, 16 of which serve their beer and guest beers, for a price ranging from 0,60 to 1,60 EUR per 300ml. That's a bargain, though the beer is still hardly worth it. The wit IPA was decent, that's all positive that I can say. Definitely not a must-visit when in town, unless they have managed to improve on virtually every level.“

“The interior tries to mix what makes the impression of an old knights' mess hall complete with stained glass with some modern elements of decor and an obviously non-medieval, though copper-laden brewhouse. While this eclecticism did not appeal to me, we made use of the lovely weather and sat outside in their beer garden which overlooks the Hlavni street of beautiful Kosice. The waitress matched looks with charm and hospitality, and the food was excellent (we had borscht and mutton sausages). Beer quality varied, with a disheartening weizen and a disappointing desitka on one hand, and a very good dvanactka pils and an excellent passion fruit sour on the other. Overall this place is very good, even if not all their beers are convincing.“

“A nice chilled out bar with 8 craft taps 6 Czech only 2 Slovakian. Beer not food is the prime focus here. Good selection of different music styles. Cheekily they have the address as Hlavna... but you have to walk through 2 courtyards to get to it... and it actually backs onto less trendy parallel road Bocna.“

“Just 4 Slovak beers, all from God Times whose Citra IPA did not impress me. Rest were imports (Guiness, Kasteel Rouge, Morte Subite kriek and lots Czech bog standard regional stuff and a few crafts which I had in Prague). Slow service even though not busy and awful rap muzak annoying most customers. Maybe just a bad night?“

“Lovely decor and vibe. Only 3 of their own beers 10° and 12° pale lagers and 13° dark lager. Then about 6 or 7 guests.... the menu and the blackboard did not agree. And it took ages to work out what the beers were as so poorly labelled/advertised included several Czech and a Polish beer. Food was above average. Service slow and twice of 6 beers we were given wrong size. WARNING the biggest downfall of this place is NO TOILETS... you have to pop out to the station concourse and pay half a euro for a leak!“

“Beers : the dark was average, the pale 12.5° poor. Nice olde wolde bar. Waiter charged me for 500ml when I had 400ml... only 30c difference but its just the point. No tip.“

“The only Slovakian beers (7) were their own, the Chinook IPL was the best of three 300ml beers I had, the Red Fox and their (not-bursting-with-hops) IPA were ok. The other 10 beers are from Czech regional breweries. There is a main serving area and at least 2 drinking rooms. Not a bad place at all. “

“Dnes otvarali a tak este nevaria. Velmi pekne prostredie, s vyhladom na stanicne namestie. Obsluha mila ale nie vsetci vedia odpovedat na otazky o pive. Plna chladnicka flasovych piv (viac ako 30druhov). Skusim aj nabuduce kedze na stanici v piatky hodinu cakavam. Edit jedlo skvele“

“Rather a wine bar than a beer place but six beers were available on tap I believe. Has a small fridge for beers to take away with De Molen and Omnipollo standing out. Interesting place but nothing I would go out if my way for.“

“Pretty small bar in a tiny street off the main track. Has a small patio in front of it, it's nicely decorated and inviting. The bar has a welcoming atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and talkative and speaks good English. Six beers on tap, two of them macro stuff unfortunately, so not really a large selection but still interesting enough. Solid prices btw. Would definitely come back here as I really liked the good atmosphere even if it doesn't have the largest selection.“

“Rather large brewpub or restaurant with several separate rooms. Good mixture between modern and old-fashioned elements, looks really good. Six beers on tap, some of them seemed to be specials. Prices are pretty low, I've had a Czech Lager for 89 Cent at 0.25 l. Didn't try the food by the way. Staff was quick and spoke English, they were eager to tell me more about the place when I asked them. Good place!“

“Relatively large, a bit worn-down craft beer bar with a massive 26 taps I believe. More or less all of them are Slovak micros with a good focus on local beers. Didn't see an option for flights or smaller pours than 0.3 l but I didn't ask for it either. Prices were pretty low, staff was friendly and relatively quick regarding the large amount of people attending. Table was completely dirty by the way but I guess that was due to the people who were at the table just before me. I sat outside on their small patio which is more like a courtyard. Definitely recommended when in town!“
