“Un bar fort sympathique de par son ambiance, ainsi que ses serveurs super cools. Terrasse au bord d'une grande avenue avec pas mal de circulation, mais dans le feu de l'action on n'y fait pas gaffe. Sélection de bières locales ou de Belgique (ça reste presque local), artisanales et un peu moins artisanales. Possibilité d'acheter des bouteilles à emporter ou à consommer sur place. Je n'ai pas mangé sur place mais ce qu'ils proposent a l'air bien bon (et la carte change régulièrement). Ouaip, j'ai bien aimé.“

“Large bar on a square in Old Lille theoretically in the manner of an English pub or Aussie bar but misses the mark a little. A popular lunchtime spot for nearby office workers. Small range of mostly standard French and Belgian blond beers plus a fridge with roughly similar beers but they also stock a few Aussie beers which may be useful to some.Not really a beer destination but a useful spot to visit whist awaiting the late opening of nearby pubs.“

“Visited the 29th February 2020 - Between Gare Lille Flandres and Place de la République, this bar is mostly famous for the number of reference 148, like the address 148 rue du Molinel and also for the name. Huge bottle list with mostly Belgium reference. Around 20 taps on the selection with mostly belgium and quite famous breweries. Price are correct, ambiance is mostly student and noisy. Well, not very a beer place but for the number of reference it needs to be mentioned.“

“Visited the 15th June 2019 - This new place in Lille has a really concept it's a cantine concept with some homemade beer and guest beer. 12 taps and some bottle, mostly is from North France and Belgium Area, and 4 local beer always brew with some plants or flowers.Taps are reasonable price but bottle can be expensive. Snack is available composed with fries with local cheese, or lentil falafel. Food price is reasonable. There is a restaurant upstair but I didn't try (maybe for a next rate). This place is split in 3 parts, a bar (pink area), a more cosy place (dark area) and the restaurant upstair. Service is ok, not good, not bad, I'm just surprised about the lack of english speaker on the staff. Also place is really heavy crowed (especially on a sunny Saturday). Definitely a place to visit in Lille.“

“Great little beer bar. Had 28 taps, I think 24 were on. Great selection, really helpful barman with good English as my french is awful. Nice to see a decent number of french beers on considering the proliferation of belgian stuff around.“

“Place visited the 27th April 2019 - On the main street bar of Lille, this huge place is a clone of the Delirium Café in Brussels. Clean and very well designed. Staff is really friendly. I didn't check the bottle selection but I was really disappointed about the tap selection which is mostly focused on tripel and belgian strong ale style. And 2/3 of taps are only Delirium... sadly range of beer. French fries offered on order.“

“Endroit assez grand avec une terrasse agréable, on y trouve toujours de la place L’équipe est sympa et il y a quelques bières pression pas mal comme la Anosteké et la Hapkin. Petits trucs à grignoter plutôt bons comme les cookies bien généreux.“

“This proved to be a cracking find when we were looking for Le Choping, turned out it was next door. There is a really good atmosphere in here, friendly and buzzing on a cold Tuesday afternoon in February. Plenty of beers to try with tasters to help. We really liked this place.“

“This is a popular locals bar and restaurant slightly off the beaten track in Lille. There is a friendly atmosphere in here. There is a small range of kegged beers but enough for visitors to the area. Not a go to destination for beer but possibly worth a look if nearby.“

“Visited Feb '19. This is quite a popular brewpub on the Railway Station square, mostly for diners from what we could see, no brewing was taking place on our visit, not sure if they actually do brew here on a regular basis. The service was slow with a certain amount of distrust on their part. We mostly tried the tasting flights and although I specifically described which beers we wanted, it was blatantly ignored. The heated terrace was the best option for us. No need to revisit.“

“Order on black Friday 2018. BCBS 2018 release and some other discounted beers. Nice selection, including beers you won't find easily in other shops. Prices of discounts were cheap, compared with other shops. Order was handled very well. Right bottles, good communication, correct handling, on time and packaging was sturdy.“

“I stopped on as this was the highest rated place on Ratebeer in Lille. It is a very good beer place, especially for the tourist. The service is great, but when I went my pig French was better than their pig English. They had 28 taps working with lots of French, Dutch and UK micros. Lots more cans and bottles. From an American perspective, every thing is really small, but this place can absorb a bit of a crowd. Great place in an old neighborhood.“
