“We came here on 20.12.2019. Our second stop on the way to Vermont. A renovated small farmhouse in the middle of a large forest. Great location, very simplistic, a few wooden tables, good music and a small tapping place. Around 10 beers on tap, all 5% ABV or lower, mainly lagers and pale ales. Fantastic tapping quality (foam, Willibecher)! The beers tasted delicious. One of the best Bretzels we ever have had. A must stop if you are in the area.“

“Classy and rustic location, about 3 hours from New York. Very friendly staff. Chill environment. Perfect place to enjoy their simple beers on tap and even get a few bottles. Come with a friend.“

“One of the best breweries to stop at if you're even remotely nearby. Large old car garage that's been converted into a beautiful, minimalist brewery/taproom space. Usually 6-8 beers on draft, bottles and cans to-go. They take their time to pour the beers and call your name when they're ready. Great, chill service. Sometimes they'll have fresh pretzels made local. And oh yea, some of the best beer in the world. Cheers to Dan and Taylor.“

“Oh man did I love this place. In the middle of nowhere, but the coolest vibe inside with a few tables, some with no chairs, and amazing pilsners, saisons, and anything else on tap. Just a really cool place with fantastic well crafted beer.“

“Just stopped in to buy some stuff to go. Dan and Taylor were super friendly and went out of their way to be there for us. Great relaxing farmhouse feeling, awesome beers. Can't wait to go back here and drink pints of their lovely beers all day long.“

“Located in a large old building that’s been redone into a brewery on a somewhat barren stretch of Route 9, they’re easy to find. Been a number of times and am finally starting to make an attempt to whittle down my places backlog. This is a fun, open, well lit, and happy place. Generally 6 or 7 beers on tap, and usually the highest alcohol you’ll find is 5% (there were two 5.2% behemoths on when I went, and that’s a first that I can recall). Everything is clean and easy drinking. No samplers, smallest pour is the only pour, of maybe 10 or 12 ounces. Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality. You’re generally going to find drinking beers here. Things that you’d want to have multiples of, not just a few ounces and then on to the next thing. Loads of subtlety. Bottles are sometimes available, and growlers are an option as well. A quick 5 minute trip to Sloop which is also worth visiting makes this a must do in the area. Both of them benefit by being near each other as they’re certainly worth visiting by themselves, but for a lot of people driving to what might a place a bit out of the way, being able to go to two is a nice plus. Staff is friendly, as are the bulk of the visitors. Great place to hang out with some amazingly clean easy drinking, and very pretty, beers.“

“Fascinating repurposed old brick building...might be an old farmhouse...but looks a little more like an old workshop or maybe a former small factory or repair shop. It’s been finished off in a very simple but clean and attractive way with some nice art displays. The beers here are farmhouse or country style along with their spin on some more traditional styles (no "me too" beers here). The quality and flavor of them is very high. If you like these types of beers you won’t be disappointed...and if you haven’t had success with them in the past...or ever tried these styles...this is a great place for an introduction. Favorites of mine included the Qualify Pils (hop accented), Bones Shirt black lager, Crispy Little (hoppy APA with wheat...my favorite) and the Look No Further (APA). The also had a German pilsner, a porter, and country beer with honey. Suarez Family is truly a family operation...and most visits (weekends at least) you will find the family and kids present. Although we met several of the family including the son who runs the place...it was the dad who we got to spend time with. He was very personable...and obviously proud of what the family had accomplished. As others have said...this place is likely to get regionally famous at the minimum...but maybe more than that (some of what they are doing...on a smaller scale of course...reminds me of Hill Farmstead 5-7 years ago. Remember when in the area to visit nearby Sloop Brewing (only 2 1/2 miles away on an apple orchard with lots of hoppy ales).“

“This place is amazing. Very simple, farmhouse style setting with incredible beers. These guys know what they’re doing-- they can brew flawless lagers (the palatine pils and hither were both delicious), as well as farmhouse style ales (the 100 Ft North and Summer Whoa)... all of which were absolutely fantastic. As a Certified Cicerone living in Colorado and working in the beer industry, I get to taste good beer all the time, but these guys really impressed me. Go soon because these guys are going to be big!“

“October '18: Updated based on a more recent visit. As good as their beers were at opening, I think they are better now. Bottles (of a few beers) and cans (of Palatine) to go as well as growlers of anything on tap. FYI for those bringing their own to refill: they only use those 750ml tall growlers. Plenty of people (maybe a few too many), but they have gotten really efficient with their ordering system since my last visit, so it doesn't feel as busy as it is. Loving what they are doing with Saison and sour styles in addition to the light, crisp Pilsners, hoppy beers, etc. that they opened with. (88: 4/8/14/NA/9/18)

October '16: Nice spot. Despite not being near much they had a fairly large crowd. All the ordering is done from one small register area. There’s standing tables around the place. After you order they put the beers and put them out/call out the order’s name. No flights, just pours and growler fills. 6 beers available on my visit, all 6 were low ABV, crisp, and just a little thin. Might be what they are going for, or just my impression. Overall, the beers were really good. If a brewery wants to be known for making crisp, clean, crushable beers I’ve got no problem with that! Definitely worth a visit. Curious to see how crowded it gets once the hype builds. (80:3/7/13/NA/8/17)“

“Old redone industrial like building in the middle of farm country in upstate NY. Old rustic feel. Very simple. Beers were solid and they had a reasonable number of their own on tap, 6 while we were there. Large barrel aging room in the back but brewery is new so no barrel aged beers ready yet. Beers were all of a normal style but they were well done and worthy of trying. Has solid potential and am excited to try more of their beers as they have more barrel aged beers. Unique brewery and worth a stop... definitely if you are in the area, but if you are in the area you are there for Sloop or Suarez because it is just out in the country.“
