80 /100 150 MAIN ST. This place replaced Ciderhouse Bar & Grill, and is pretty far north in VT, close to the Canadian border. It's a massive place that doesn't seem to have made full use of the space. You can do a flight of 4 regular draft ciders for $7, and a ice cider flight of 5 of them for $15 or so. They also have a few beers on tap, including a Hill Farmstead. Super friendly young lady helped explain the products to us. With the new Burlington taproom about to open up soon, this place may be redundant if you're spending time in Burlington, but for now, this was a kickass stop. |
76 /100 Buzzy’s Beverage and Redemption Center (Beer Store) 100 EAST MAIN STREET Typical shady small town beerstore with a lot of high class VT beers in the fridges. Okay, you are in Vermont, that´s not unusual for residents but impressing for a tourist like me. Helpfull stuff. What did I need more on a friday evening? |
72 /100 1876 VT RT 105 New Brewery way up in the NEK. The tasting room can get pretty cramped. They’re very generous with tasters and it appears the brewer is always serving beer. not a bad view of their brewery from the tasting room. Limited hours from what I can remember. Be careful during mud season. the last bit of the drive is dirt. |
92 /100 1876 VT RT 105 great beer, comfortable and friendly. the best place to end your Vermont beer run on a high note. |
52 /100 Buzzy’s Beverage and Redemption Center (Beer Store) 100 EAST MAIN STREET Made a quick stop to check out the quality and was generally unimpressed. Let’s just say that if you’re stuck in town and this is your only microbrew option, it will fit the bill. There were maybe a few dozen options. One of the staff did come up and ask if they could help me find anything, which I appreciated. |
76 /100 Buzzy’s Beverage and Redemption Center (Beer Store) 100 EAST MAIN STREET A good solid, local bottle shop and liquor store. |
