“What can you say - you're buying beer out of a shipping container (admittedly a very nicely appointed shipping container). Staff was friendly and helpful. Selection was good.“

“Brewery in an industrial estate in a nondescript area. Staff are very friendly. Still outdoor only as of Nov. 2021, so was pretty cold in the tent. Flights available. Beers generally good, stouts absolutely outstanding. Big selection of cans and bottles to go. Well worth a visit.“

“Independently owned and operated but attached to and part of Wegman's. Selection not particularly great considering how far we’ve come over the years, do have a decent mix-a-six for $10.99 and lots of sampler boxes; overall prices seem to be about 5-10% higher than they should be, not a gouge, but a sure annoyance. They did have sixers of Edelstoff and Maximator, which always gets my attention. I was hoping to find something from Kane, which is right around the corner, but only a single six-pack of their flagship IPA in the cooler. Some other close-ish NJ breweries represented, and from a bit farther away (Cape May) but only 2-3 varieties and only a few sixers – better to just make a series of trips to individual breweries for their stuff. Respectable, friendly help and they had four registers open and humming at an off-peak hour. [2019.01.12: 66]“

“Ambiance - the brewery is in an industrial park, but the hosting area and merch shops are welcoming and clean. Service - both the merch and tenders were nice. Very courteous and friendly. Selection - there is an abundant amount of high quality brews. All are Kane Brewery specific. Cans are available. Food - N/A Value - merchant is a good value. Flights are on the money, maybe a tad high. Overall - a must see for NJ Brewery chasers. “

“Nice, albeit quite busy, tasting room in a warehouse. Wooden benches. Good beers and nice conversations. Worth a visit.

Visited on a Friday with S and K.“

“Really big warehouse style setup. Fairly crowded, but well enough organized. Not a lot of seating, but there are lots of barrels to stand around. Limited draft selection of like 5 or 6 standards you can find all around the state plus a couple of more unique ones. Bottles and cans as available, depends on the day. Worth a stop, but a little too busy/well known to be a fun hangout.“

“10 taps in a very odd warehouse/office building. Was packed on a Friday night. Beer was by far the best local beer that I’ve found in NJ. Flights of 4 for $6 - hard to beat that.“

“Warehouse style brewery and tap room with barrels everywhere and a refinished wood bar. Great selection of varied beer styles, and friendly service. Kane’s beers are excellent but, I wish they were open more than 2 days a week. Tulip and teku glasses for sale with shirts and hoodies. Great brewery. Hometown favorite.“

“This is a nice brewery and tap room, though you feel like you are entering an office instead of a brewery. Inside though, barrels and freshly tapped beer await, along with a quite friendly staff. This is one of the best beer stops in NJ, a must for anyone passing through or traveling specifically for some beers.“

“Warehouse brewery with a tasting room split into two, parts. The first is a small bar that fills growlers from taps and offers samplers. The second in the brewery itself offers samplers that you can drink at a couple of picnic tables next to rack after rack of barrels, while watching the airlocks bubble and froth away on the nearby fermentation vessels. The beer was the highlight, though - each one better than the next. The best beer we encountered in Joisey, I believe.“

“Great newish brewery in NJ. Solid beers. Warehouse like tasting room with a small room upfront to get beer. During events they usually have a second makeshift bar in the brewery itself. They sell samples and offer a discount if you get a flight.“

“Very unique tasting room/brewery. Great beer and generally mic beer loving people to drink with. You can get flights or pours which is nice. Wish they have longer hours.“

“Nice small tasting room with friendly staff and a good selection of their standard and rare brews. My only gripe is I wish they were open more often and for longer because it’s a pain to get there during their hours.“

“Kane along with Carton are NJ’s best new breweries. Whereas Carton has concentrated on a number of unusual styles (ala Dogfish), Kane is doing more traditional styles "extremely" well. Don’t get me wrong...Kane can definitely make some less common beers. At a recent tap takover I tasted their bourbon barrel aged Head High IPA and OverHead DIPA...they were both amazing...especially the Head High version. But that’s no surprise given how great Head High is in the first place. When I first visited the brewery I was very impressed with Michael Kane as well as the whole operation. I since had a chance to hear him speak to our homebrewer’s group...he’s a very easy going nice guy with a wealth of information for the homebrewer. The tour and beer samples at the brewery are well worth the visit. Make sure you get some of their Solitude...a fantastic Belgium strong ale. I was very lucky to score some cask conditioned at a recent Kane night at the Taphouse Grille in Wayne.“

“Great tour and delicious beer. Micheal Kane is a really cool down to earth guy. And tasting room is a real chill place to try some great Jersey beer.“

“Worth a trip if traveling near the shore. Great prices to sample or buy almost everything on tap. Also rotate in a few one offs that are for on premise only. The brewery is open to walk in with barrels aging beer along the walls. Great relaxing atmosphere full of fun and friendly locals.“
