The Bottle Shop HK (Beer Store)
G/F 114 MAN NIN STREET
“Bottled beer shop with mainly imported bottles, but a growing collection of local craft ales in bottles and cans - the choice just gets bigger. Really friendly bunch that run it, always up for a chat, and a couple of tables on the street outside to quaff a cold one (fridges right at the back for ready to use takeaways ...). A collection of artisan gins and vodkas also.“

Winerack - Sai Kung (Beer Store)

“I found out this place in Sai Kung while visiting The Bottle Shop. As the name suggests it focus on wines, champagne and all sorts of spirits, but as the sales lady explained to me, its owner is a German businessman, so the store also sell a wide variety of German, Austrian and British beers and ciders. Selection is fairly good and with some unexpected find. Price is reasonable enough and service is friendly. Will visit the Sai Kung store again for sure as well as the one in Sai Wan.“

The Bottle Shop HK (Beer Store)

“Great space on the waterfront. Probably the largest selection of craft beer in HK. Standouts include De Molen, Evil Twin, 8Wired and Mountain Goat, which are imported by the shop itself. There’s a tasting room in the back for small events. Owners Danny and Tracy are lovely. Staff is friendly and well-informed. Worth the trip out to Sai Kung!“

Exactly 3 months later, they’ve got their own physical shop and I know I must pay a visit there. Located right in front of Sai Kung Harbour, the shop is clean, spacey and very organized. Nearly 99% of the lineups on the website are neatly stocked here. It also has a large tasting room enough to hold 10-12 drinkers for sampling the new founds. I came here for the de Molens and I swoop them all except one :) Danny the shop owner is very friendly and obviously very knowledgable about European craft brews. If you come to visit Sai Kung for seafood meals or just hanging around for nice scenary, make sure to pay a visit to Danny’s shop and buy some cool stuff here, THE proper beershop in Hong Kong! Thumbs up!

Here comes another great place in HK to shop craft beers. This place has the biggest craft beer selection than any other physical / online beer shops in the city. With rare and mouth watering stuffs from across the globe. Prices and delivery costs are fair, and it’ll have its own physical store in Sai Kung in May this year. I can’t wait to visit their store. Happy online shopping meanwhile.“
