“We visited our 1111 beer place on 5.1.2022 with our friend Bernie. Small beer bar in the 7th district. Simple and friendly interior makes you feel very comfortable. 4 beers on tap: Giesinger Helles, Trumer Hopfenspiel, Next Level Pale Ale, Tiny Rebel IPA. Well tapped and good beer quality. Next to the bar a few fridges with a good selection of German, Austrian, Belgium and US cans and bottles. Livio the bar keeper was very friendly and fast. We will definitely come back!“

“La nevera de cerveza simplemente espectacular gran variedad de cervezas ácidas Cantillon, bokke. Amplia selección de grifos. Precios elevados. Visita sábado después de cenar, local muy ruidoso y bastante gente no bebiendo cerveza para ser una de las principales cervecerías de la ciudad. Personalmente me espera otra cosa. Más Pub que cervecería.“

“Sin duda mi local favorito de los Visitados en la ciudad. Trato muy amable. Buena selección de cervezas locales de nevera. Algo corta en los grifos. Local muy acogedor y trato muy amable. Si vuelvo a la ciudad visita obligada.“

“Looks to be a new place. At least it smelt fresh. Nordic style clean and modern beer place. They have patio on the street as well so you can sit there, but mind the buses which pass by closer than you would like. They seems to be some sort of taproom for Mohren brewery. Migh visit again.“

“Just across the 1516 brewpub. Large place with good vibe. English spoken and football shown here. Prices weren't too high. No flights. Taps mainly macros.“

“Nice and "stinky" old school taproom, exactly how I like em. Staff was young and not very experienced with English language, but help was brought from kitchen, so problem solved. 2 of their beers weren't on, but it doesn't matter. It was still nice 8 beers or so to try. They do flights and they do food. Ohhhh they do food. I tried Wiener schnitzel for 11.90 euros. I got bloody 3 full size schnitzels! Plus traditional potato salad which was weird, but nice. That was some heavy meal and delicious. Will come again for sure!“

“Around the corner of the 1516 Brewpub. What a piece of tourist trap this place is. For a starter I was offered what kind of language do I want to speak, choices were multiple, I stuck with English. Which was barely spoken. Common language between staff was russian. Service was slow, price high. I drunk my beer and left. I don't think I will visit this place again.“

“Fancy restaurant type of thing. You can catch tram here, walking through a park isn't option 'cause there ain't no shortcut. Looks to be identical to Salm Bräu, brewery door was open and as I passed it I noticed some logo of Salm. Locals should dig in and find out are the beers same or not. To me tasted pretty much same.“

“They do flights and English was spoken. I was sitting in beergarden which wasn't big. Bad thing with beergardens is that people smoke there. Beer was decent, nothing exciting. Service quicker than normal. Refreshing after walk in a park.“

“Absolutely packed on saturday night. Not much of a choice here, macros everywhere. They claimed to have real ale, but nothing was on (excuse was Covid-19 which may be true). Nothing really to do here. Didn't enjoy this place at all.“

“Restaurant type of place. Very friendly staff, but I was treated as drunk tourist so I had "special price". English spoken. Didn't eat but food aromas were nice. Beer in other hand was tiny bit off.“

“Well now I kind of remember how I got here. Took tram from Hefenbrüder. I remember staff speaking English. Flights were served. Good wurst places were recommended. Worth to visit, but it's a good trip away. Selction is only Brew Age beers.“

“Probably the best place in Vienna at the moment. There are 2 problems thou: their opening times are limited and no easy way to get there. Ok tram nr 5 (if I remember correctly) comes almost to the door, but then it takes time. Otherwise it's a great place. I would say half of the taps were local and rest international. Friendly staff. They do flights as well. English spoken. Drunks tolerated and treated with smile and respect (I wasn't the freshest pickle in the jar). Will come again.“

“Took me ages to find this place mainly because of construction works. But location is just next to metal-merchandise shop which was way easier to find. Old looking, worn out, smell of stale spilt drinks on floor. Looks like tourist trap. Macros on tap. Not worth to visit.“

“They now to the samples so my money damage wasn't too bad. I would even say it was normal. Very chatty staff, which was nice. Otherwise on a side street, empty (I was only customer for a while), clean and friendly. One of the highlights from the trip. Will come back.“

“The system with Ammutson is that they don't have a system. I let the staff explain me 3 times how do I get a tasing tray and still couldn't understand it. Moments later came in another customer who wanted also sample tray and he couldn't understand the system either. Like why are you doing this? Otherwise nice place. Lots of international things on tap and shame they all started with 7% abv +. Like really? Shame that no not even a single low or non alcoholic beer was sold here. My gf doesn't drink boozy stuff so she had nothing to do here. But for me yeah I'll come back at some point.“

“I guess when you are local it's nice place to be, but for a ticker it's tiny bit boring. Selection is very one sided (big micros available everywhere), a lot of hype stuff too. It's a shame you can't drink stuff on site. Actually it's a big minus for me. Otherwise yeah you can come here if you have nothing else to do or looking for some rare stuff. Bring wallet!“

“No too far from some sightseeing objects, but still some walk, prolly depends what's your starting point. Nice brewpub. They had a beergarden too so that was a bonus. English spoken barely, but they understood my german (I have never ever learnt german at school) so that was a bonus. Good prices and natural shnitzel was excellent. Will come back.“

“Small and cozy place in Leopoldstad, just 3 stops by tram nr 2 from the center. For a change from the Inner Stadt madness this place was packed too on Friday evening, but quite empty on saturday. Friendly staff. Not too many taps, but good prices and beer was fresh too. Worth a visit when in neighbourhood.“

“I can understand the hype if you are new to the beers. But to geezers like me there is very little interesting going on tapwize. But I managed to squeeze meself a proper beerflight and there were plenty of bottles in the fridges. Loud and noisy at Friday late night, but not complaining just saying. Floor was sticky and full of liquids. Quite dirty, but it added a little character. Staff was superb, friendly and very helpful. Would I come back? Yes.“

“Visisted 14.08.21. A stylish restaurant with a very good meny of draught beers. Food is mainly burgers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Both Austrain and international craft beer. Menues in English. Friendly, effective and English speaking service. They offer a taster board with six beers for ten euros.“

“Small and unpretentious bar close to the center that is focused exclusively on BrewAge beers. Six beers from tap and most of the other BrewAge beers (including BA stuff) in bottles. Snacks are available but we did not try. Nice owner and reasonable prices. A pretty good place to try the BrewAge range.“

“Came here in the evening before a public holiday. Place wasn't very busy (busy outside, indoors was half empty). They have 5 or 6 taps and a few fridges with bottles. Decent selection of Austrian bottles, also decent selection of German beers, especially lagers / Weizen. Also some other imports. Judging by their shop, I expected the selection to be even better. Focus is on hoppy beers and lagers, not many stouts here. Possibly the selection will get bigger again, once business picks to again (post Covid). Overall recommended and work a visit“

“A quite new bottleshop in the middle of the most gentrificated district Neubau. The interior is special with illumninated wooden shelves and also several refrigerators. The selection is not so wide like the Ammersin shops, but here you get beers from all over euope also from not so famous breweries -for a quite high price -and this is also my conclusio: great anad unypical beers, but for a higher price“

“Newish place a bit tucked away in a side street. What a surprise this was! We came here after dinner for a couple beers. Place is run by the owners, an Austrian / Australian couple. Expect very friendly service. Its a very small operation and so far they only do bottles (no tap system yet). But the quality of the 3 beers I tasted was very good. We had the Porter, a stronger Milk Stout and a smoked Wit. All 3 beers were in very good shape, very well executed and very drinkable. Which was a bit of a surprise, because usually in Vienna with some good beers you get at least the same amount of mediocre ones. I think they had like 8-10 different beers available, also a couple bottles from other breweries. Unfortunatly we did not have food here, but the homemade pumpkin cake I had was very very tasty. With the cozy athmosphere, the friendly service, the good food and beer this is easily a top 3 place for me in Vienna. Will be back for more soon.“

“Place was rebranded as Flatschers Margareten recently. The place has been opened for 2-3 years. It was on my daily bike lane to work, but somehow I never made it in. Visited yesterday for the first time. Place is rather modern yet has a nice ambience. Service was friendly and efficient. Flatschers is known for their meat dishes. So Veggie options are a bit limited, but the Veggie burger was surprisingly good. They have 8 taps, 6 of their standard beers, and then 2 specials. Specials were a Belgian Wit and a Matcha Lager. They did tasters before, but not anymore. Smallest size is 0,3l. Unfortunatly the beers were also not very exciting. I started with the stout, which was very off-style. More like a Dunkler Bock. Both Wit and West Coast IPA were not very good too. The IPA actually tasted quite old. On a friday evening the place was quite busy and all tables reserved. Good for food and service, but beer wise no recommendation from me.“

“We came here on 17.10.2020. Maybe the only place in Vienna where you enjoy Augustiner Helles and Edelstoff from tap. They also have a few bottle beers from the same Munich brewery. Food is very typical Austrian, great selection. Make sure you have a reservation on the weekends.“
