Wow. Maybe best beer store in Monterey. Tons of Belgians. Lots of semi local beers. I found beers from 2 new breweries. Great prices. $3.50/16oz can independent of abv. That is half of Silicon Valley prices. Very good.

Ugly lookin from the outside, but ya don’t care when lookin at the beers. Big selection. Wouldn’t trust the age on hoppy stuff if not clearly dated.

This place has a huge number of bottles. There is a possibility that some of them are rather old. But for the most part we are not talking pale blondy beers. We are talking about heavy beers. Tho that may reflect my focus. Gotta like this place.

Easily one of the better places to shop beer in the city of Monterey. It’s close to all the local attractions and everyone behind the counter knows what they’re talking about. Huge beer selection, and the staff can point you in any direction you wish to help you make the selection for your beer!

Pretty good bottle shop with lots of imported Belgians and small locals.

What stood out at this place was the ample selection of Belgian beers. Girardin Black Label, Malhuer, ext. Prices were on par, or a little less than a Whole Foods. I did not interact with any employees, but the man behind the register seemed friendly as he talked to the other customers in the store.

BMan wants more local offerings, sadly there are no local breweries. Picked up a collection of Port beers on this visit. This is easily the best place for beer in Monterey County. There are actually beers here that I can’t find in Santa Rosa (Fantome?)

Good selection of both domestic, and belgians. Pizza Port, Lost Abbey, are here in a good variety. No Russian River, Alesmith. Owner was very helpful. Most likely the best selection you’ll find in the region. Prices seem to be about right.

Large Assortment of quality Beers. Semi high priced. Possibly the largest (if not the only) selection of Belgium Ales in the southern Monterey Bay. Also sells a variety of wines and cigars. Little higher priced than other beer sellers.

A lot of beer is available here. Not much help from staff. The selection is not all about quality and there’s plenty of macro and pseudo macro stuff but plenty of good choices as well. Green Flash was the ticket on our visit. Right up from the aquarium. We parked right in front and were pleasantly surprised by the selection.
