Medium sized bar in lively Pigneto. Small patio outside. Not very busy during our visit. 10 Italian micros on tap + 2 Belgian ones. Around 100 beers in three fridges. Good selection of sour beers including lambic. As it happens often in Italy prices of imported stuff are sometimes through the roof. Worth visiting.

Very friendly and experienced stuff, good selection both on taps and in bottles. Right mood if you like real bars/pubs not cafe-like spots. Had lot of fun there. The only problem was bad ventilation.

Visited the 1st May 2016 with friends - Good bar on a festive street. Decent beer selection for a good value. Very friendly staff happy to share beer knowledge :). I really enjoy this night there. Good bottle selection with some treasure, I was happy to find Brewfist/Praires - Spaghetti Western Grappa BA ! Very various selection not so focused on the Italian scenic beer. Highly recommended.

I got to know this place as a Belgian working in Rome for a couple of months. Allow me to be be blunt: this place has become my home away from home and if it was located in my hometown of Antwerpen I would drink my daily draught here. Period. The prices are more than fair, the staff knows their stuff and speaks decent English (especially Massi!) and I love the selection. the 8 (9 if you count the hand pump) beers on draft vary - literally - all the time and keep a good balance between English, American, German and Belgian styles, often coming from young and very promising Italian brewers. In the fridges the same theme applies: around 50-100 different brews are stocked. You can find stuff from a variety of producers including young locals but also classic Belgian institutions like De La Senne, Kerkom, Orval, Boon,... or the better international rising stars like abbaye de saint bon chien, Mikkeller, brewdog,... Perhaps the most important reason why I prefer this place over anything else in Rome: it feels very ’real’. The people here actually love and know beer beyond the current hypes and they support their local scene. If you have the chance; get to Pigneto, grab a bite in one of the nice restaurants and visit Birra+. I’ve been to beer bars all over Europe, but this is honestly one of my favourites.
