A group I was with organized a private tour and tasting in December 2012. Small family run feel to the brewery, and you can tell that the folks there are passionate about what they do and enjoy sharing this with guests. All spoke very good English, which is not always very common in the Walloon region. Very small selection of things to purchase (large bottles of Triple, a few types of gift boxes, etc.). Need to go elsewhere to buy in bulk. They only had three beers on tap for sampling, Cuvee de Noel, Grand Cru, and Blonde. Grand Cru still being a beer I keep stocked in the fridge and Cuvee de Noel being one of my favorite Belgian Christmas beers.

Centrally located in LeRoeulx. Only the brewery sign would show a brewery is there. The older part of the brewery is reminiscent of an old farmhouse type of building, adjacent to it are the brewhouse with the bar area, production line, and a bigger warehouse under construction for future expansion. For the size and production they have, I found everything to still have a very family like small-size operation. In terms of service, as per usual, great to talk to people who love what they do. Selection, although it’s the main production site, the place does not allow people to have a drink except during the tours, and instead have to drive about 1km to their warehouse in order to buy their products. Had a nice chat with one of the brewers and owners about their products and the beer scene in general. Weekly tours organized for those wanting to see the different steps in the production. Enjoyable to visit with a definite plus for keeping it under the same family and tradition.

Had a most enjoyable tour on a day they were brewing. Small, quaint and charming - at least to me. Dominique Friart is charming as well and appears to be a very savvy woman. Got to sample beers in a very new looking tasting room. Small town and not so very obvious that it’s a brewery unless you follow your nose on a brewing day.
