Whole Foods Market - Coddingtown

Stopped here with heykevin for some breakfast on the way out of twon the morning after RateBeer Best 2017. They have a taproom/bar area as well as the usual selection of beers in coolers that most Whole Foods locations have. The selection is pretty straightforward and does not really hold any surprises for you. You will be able to at least get the local stuff like Russian River and the usual suspects in any Northern California bottle shop. It's fine enough if you happen to already be coming here, but just go to Bottle Barn if you want a big selection.

Whole Foods with a good selection of beers, mostly locals and mostly in 4/6 packs and bombers. There is a taproom (Russian River, Henhouse + more) inside the store and next to the beer department, but not opened yet as we visited early in the morning. Good prices.

Good selection of bombers, did not pay attention to six packs. Tap room on site too. A good selection of local breweries, as well as the usual suspects.

Was also amazed to see a tap room inside this supermarket, not open though when we visited. Staff were helpful, especially as an issue came up when we paid for our stuff, as we were overcharged for one item. Selection was solid, good range of big bottles, limited selection of single smaller bottles. Food at Wholefoods is always good, with a great hot food selection and salad bar but is quite pricey. The beers I bought were reasonable, some expensive bottles also. Not a patch on a dedicated bottle shop but great if you want to buy groceries and beer at the same time.

Pretty frickin rad Whole Foods, they have a full out taproom and bar place right next to the beer section inside the store. Selection is not particularly extraordinary but they have an employee dedicated to help you make your beer selection. Prices are quite good (grocery store prices!). Very cool place.

Impressive selection of bottles with pretty reasonable prices. Service was quite attentive and willing to give advice or direct you to what you wanted to find. Definitely worth a stop when in Santa Rosa if you have some time.

Well now, this is pretty darn cool. I have been to Steep Brew, which is a tap room adjacent to a Whole Foods, but this one is right inside. Pretty nice taplist, and tasters for $2.50. Step out and peruse the pretty standard bottled beer selection as well, just dont take your glass with you!

Freakin rad grocery store. I have to give this one bonus points for being able to do your grocery shopping while tasting world class beers in a pub literally INSIDE the store. Not a different room accessible from the store, but a little hut in the middle of the store. Haha, I love it! I’ve been here a few times and whoever is in charge of getting beers for the taproom is doing a bang up job. There is always some really rare and tasty beers on tap. The bottle selection (outside the taproom in the grocery section) is very good as well. I’ve actually seen better at other Whole Foods, but this one is good as well. The service is nice and the taproom itself is super small but feels comfortable somehow.

Stopped here to pick up some food and hit the beer selection, while we were at it. Average to slightly above average selection of singles and bombers. The coolest part of this place is the draft selection, which offers tasters of various beers on tap. Didn’t get a chance to try many, as it was super crowded, which was weird for a Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm, oh well. Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty cool joint, but I still prefer Bottle Barn for stocking up.
