Located inside Bashford Mall, in the heart of downtown Prescott, this place has been here since the late 80s, and is a staple of the Prescott experience. Most beer is now brewed off location at the main plant just north in the Prescott airpark. John is the owner and runs a tight ship here in a tourist town; fun and busy atmosphere most of the time, has great craft beers on tap that include standard fare (amber, IPA, porter, etc) and rotating seasonals. I happen to love the Achocolypse for its slight coffee but bold chocolate flavor. Food here is also pretty good, and reasonably priced for the downtown area. Check it out for lunch or dinner. Also got one of the best happy hours in the downtown Prescott area.

A rather basic brew pub that has seen better days, unexciting beers, but good service at the bar.

Pretty generic brewery restaurant in the historic town center of Prescott. PBC has been in business for more than 22 years, which is pretty respectable in this business. The brewing facility has been moved off-site a while ago (late 2011) but I am unsure if some brewing is still done at the brewpub. The interior of the restaurant is classic, first generation American brewpub. It looked almost a little run down to me. At the time of our visit, (late in the evening on a Wednesday) PBC was the restaurant with decent beer still open in town. The restaurant staff we interacted with were not really interested in their beer selection but were nice enough to provide us with a flight of everything the produce. Beers ranged from middling in quality to fairly interesting but nothing I would write home about. Many of their beers may have been right on the edge of extreme when they started 22 years ago but are now solidly within the core range of most microbreweries...

Almost immediately next to Superstition, this place is located in a little shopping mall. Rustic but modern feel to the place, there is plenty of seating, tables and bar. I ordered a flight of 9 forms good price, though the beers were generic and forgettable. Service was friendly enough. If you are in Prescott and have the extra time, you could stop, but I wouldn’t give it priority.

Right next door to Superstition, in fact I got lost here while looking for the meadery. Strip mall sports bar atmosphere, not much character. Good enough for a quick look.

It’s a bar that happens to make beer (not clear where this happens). Bartender was cool. 9 beers on tap. Seems like as many mixed drinks / wine heading out from the bar as their beer. Quite busy, even on a Wednesday evening. Pizza was pretty good, but not great - I like that it’s made with their spent grain, but I’m not sure how you could tell.

This place is right off the county courthouse square in prescott, hard to miss. It was super-busy both saturday and sunday...mostly restauranteurs and not the typical beer-drinking types - my informal poll had about 20% of patrons drinking beer on sunday afternoon. Still, the service was very good and the food wasn’t bad - the selection on the menu was good. The value was average - $1.25 tasters and $4.50 pints. Overall, I like some of the beers (especially the petrified porter) and would buy their beer again, but I don’t think I’d go back to the brewpub due to the atmosphere. They do bottle (& can), after all.

Nice customer service with a good craft beer selection by Prescott Brewing. A very chill environment with better than average pub food. A nice place to hang out for an afternoon. ONe of the better places in Prescott to enjoy a craft brew.
