Bratislavský Meštiansky Pivovar Dunajská

Visited in 2017. Out of all brewpubs in the city, this one fits the definition of a beer hall most aptly, as it is basically a long hall with a high ceiling, white stone pillars and heavy wooden benches. The food is a bit pricey but really great (one of the few places you can get a hermelin that's actually been made to ripen and not just a fresh camembert drenched in oil), the service ok. Beer-wise I thought their tmavy was rather disappointing but their svetly is one of the best pilsners around. Really nice place for a family dinner as well as the start of an evening bash.

Nice large restaurant/brewpub With a fine fine beer garden outside. Good Food, but not that large beer selection.

A little further out than the other location, but easily reachable. A nice outside beer garden and beautifully set-up. Same small beer list, though the pilsner is apparently a different recipe and worth the tick. Friendly service. No small pours, but staff will give samples.

Large restaurant with a big beer garden outside. Well-visited during an evening on a Monday, not just by locals but by tourists as well I guess. Two standard but tasty beers on tap, a handful of commonly available bottles were on offer as well. Food was very tasty and not expensive, not even for Bratislava. Quick service, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Nice place for getting some food before entering the beerier places.

Big beer garden that is short walk from the.center. Two beers on tap, a couple of bottles. Service is decent, English works. Prices are good. Overall: worth a visit, but not a must.

Ate here with Zlotta. Inside is spacious, almost cavernous, but in good weather we ate outside in a beer garden that could rival any in Bavaria. Staff spoke English well and brought menus in English. Food was tasty and filling. Two beers on tap and a handful of bottles, both tap beers were fine. Worth a stop for a meal and socializing.

Huge place with just three beers on tap (two brewed on location). Not a place for beer afficionados. No good service. Meals ok.
