60 Stopped here after one of my soccer games for some pizza and beers with the team. Typical pizza parlor feel with the food counter at the front and picnic tables and benches throughout. A few decent beers on tap, but pretty much all standard offerings. The pizza is pretty decent, as it is at all the Lampposts. You could stop here for a bite and beer, but wouldn’t bother coming out of my way to go here. |
62 (Visited 12/2011): This Lamppost location is in a strip mall on Adams Ave. Ample parking out front.
The interior is a pretty standard setup for the chain. Picnic table benches throughout the space, video games and a walk-up "bar" in the back.
The beer selection amounts to around 12 taps with highlights from Karl Strauss and Sierra Nevada. No Backstreet beers available so I am not sure if that is a standard thing or what. Some bottled options as well.
Service at Lamppost is about what you would expect from a pizza joint.
I am a fan of Lamppost pizza and have enjoyed the various styles I have tried.
Overall not necessarily a beer destination but in the immediate area it may be a worthwhile stop for a decent pizza and a few solid beer options. |
