76 An established brewery, established before taprooms were legal. The taproom looks like an afterthought. This brings down my overall rating. The beers are excellent and generally true to style - even styles that are not my favorite are well done. |
68 Visited February 2017. Quick stop when driving past along highway. IPA was OK. Place is quite mess and lots of dogs around. |
88 This place appears to have come a long way since the 2 old reviews below. The have a tap room and 11 taps. The beer variety and quality were very strong. This is a casual place...but a fun one nonetheless. The tap room although not amazing or anything...is nice enough and does the trick. The staff here are great though and one of their biggest assets next to the beers of course. I met the father and son that run the place. I enjoyed my conversations with them. I also took and tour and checked out their homebrew shop...which is right in the brewing area. At the end of the day though...come for the beers...they range from good to very good...with some unusual and innovative recipes as well. |
80 I will no doubt change this review once I have made my appointment and taken the tour, but from the small glimpse I took of the place, its very grass-roots like and hometown feeling. Things look somewhat rough on the outside, but are well put together on the inside. No taproom is a real drawback though. Although once you’ve had the tour you can come back and get growler fills and 6packs and just whatever you need. The staff was super helpful and well informed. Certainly worth a stop if you are passing by, but call to make your appt for a tour first. |
72 We had a great tour at Thomas Creek. Its a brewery, and they sell home brew items. They really care for those who come by... glad to talk with you, but its still a working business... they aren’t trying to impress, just trying to get the product out the door. They even had a beer they was trying to clear out that was great.... they were trying to sell it out for little to nothing. Awesome! |
