Corks Out Stockton Heath

On the main road running through the vibrant and well-to-do Warrington suburb of Stockton Heath, this wine and bottle shop is very much a bar in the evenings and gets plenty through the doors on peak nights. In an elevated shop unit, the first part of the venue is taken up by the wine shelves, with the counter at the rear. The ale selection which has a fairly decent selection of, and exclusively from micros is opposite this. It’s not extensive, but worth a look. if you’re staying for the wine there’s further rooms in the rear of the place which is more suited for drinking as well as an attractive patio. They have their own automatic wine dispensing system so don’t expect to be served at the bar if it’s grape juice you want in here.
