This was our only brewery stop in San Jose and it was a pretty solid one. Big warehouse interior, next to an RC track. 12 or so beers on tap when I visited. Flights of 4 available for $8 (incl tax), quite a good deal considering the high gravity nature of many of them -- I got a flight with a double IPA, triple IPA, and two imperial stouts, and tasted a few others. I was happy with most of their beers, with their west coast IPA and triple IPA being standouts. Nothing mind-blowing, but they were all well-dialled in. Service was extremely friendly and endearing. I'd stop in again.

15 taps. Slightly of downtown. Very close to San Jose Sharks stadium. In a big warehouse with plenty of parking. Quiet, but plenty of people(20 or so) about an hour before closing on a Thursday night. Very nice.

End of May 2016. Around the side of a big industrial lot, nice big space but it’s already looking pretty full while mananging to retail an open feel. Brewery is jammed into half of the space, bar and customer seating takes up a good chunk of the rest. Seating for at least 50 by my count, and room enough that many more could be standing around if it came to that. Certainly has the feel of a place that was DIY, as the seating is picnic tables and then bar stools at counters that were constructed from putting some palettes together. Crowd was small when I was there, a little after they had opened. Definitely dog friendly as there were a couple of them in the place when I came, and kid friendly as well. Eight beers on, flights of four for $6 makes it really easy to try everything. The baseball theme runs through all of the beer names, and makes “Double IPA” a clever name for probably the first time ever. The beers were fine, nothing that blew me away, but all pretty clean and well executed, just too “safe” for most of the beer geeks that use this site. But good clean serviceable beer that keeps locals happy. Nothing wrong with that.

Large industrial warehouse space that’s easy to spot. Kinda neat, the brewery is right next to a hobby shop/RC car race track.

Pretty large brewery space, but the tasting room is a little on the small side. It’s also not exactly comfortable here as there’s pretty much a complete lack of climate control. Unfinished wood benches and tables are kind of neat.

About half a dozen beers available. I opted to try all of them. The beers were okay for the most part. They weren’t bad, but not something I’d go out of my way to have again. At least they were all things I could drink the taster glass of.

Not going to blow anybody away, but one of the better options in the area.

Finally made it down. Industrial warehouse space, big rollup door. Workmanlike interior, brewing equipment in one corner. Raw materials, kegs, etc throughout. Stainless serving bar in the back. Spots for eight taps. Running six when i was there. Flights of six for eight bucks. TV over the bar, guessing they have a lot of baseball on in season. No food, but you can order from doordash. Pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon. Shirts and glassware for sale. Beer is mostly solid, a couple disappointments and nothing really stellar. However, making the standard styles solidly is a good start.

Visited October 11, 2014.

I assumed that this was another military themed brewery but as it turns out they’re just baseball fans. That’s preferable since if the beer sucks I don’t have to feel bad about hating the troops. As it happens the beer is not bad. Not great, but not bad. It’s another large industrial building. Check the addresses on the buildings because there isn’t a visible sign. I pulled into the next building over and it’s a bazaar of sorts. I had one guy come up to the car and ask if I needed a stereo. The whole building was full of open stores. What I actually needed to do was go next door and pull into the storage yard in the back and find the brewery.

For such a large building they have a pretty small system (10-15 bbl). They have a small bar, some tables, and a ping pong table. During my visit they had 7 beers on tap. The best were the IPA and DIPA. I guess the Oktoberfest is actually an ale. Interesting. They also have a small bottling line here. Not much else to say. They’re off to a decent start.

Grand opening October 4th and they will have 8-9 beers. Tap brew from 4-5 dollars. Mug club option as well. Great ambiance in the spot where they actually brew the beer. cheers! Shaggy

Gotta love a taproom right in the brew house!. These guys have just opened but off to a great start. Beers are tasty, definitely looking forward to how they expand their offering. San Jose has very few breweries so come support these guys!
