This Is Pivbar (Na Basejnoj)

Visited in August 2019. The fact that it has a reception at the entrance makes it look rather upscale, though by no means forbidding - the girl was lovely. Dimly lit, stylish and simply pleasant to sit in, as most of Kiev's craft beer spots. 20 taps, flights available, the selection was focused on Varvar while I visited. Great place.

A downstairs, underground bar that is dimly lit and formally set up. Lots of taps (at least 2 dozen), but only about 6 devoted to Ukrainian craft, the rest being macro stuff from all over. Flights of 4 x 0.15L available for 105 UAH ($4 US), which is very much appreciated. Some bottles available too. Staff speaks English and is extremely friendly. Recommended stop for a quick flight or two.

An underground, very big but completely empty during my visit. Pub opposite the huge Gulliver shopping centre. Staff pretty decent, selection of beer is pretty ok (at least great for Kyiv standards) although they were out of some of their own beers durng my visit.

Decent sized underground bar near Gulliver shopping center in Kiev. 29 beers on tap, 3 house beers, decent food menu, English speaking waitresses. Not bad for Kiev.
