60 Stopped in with GenDV110+OT before heading to Radagast’s gathering. Basic sports bar feel, clean and spacious. Only purpose for the stop was to try the house beer, which is not good. |
68 Nice upscale sports bar with nice decor, good food, small but decent quality tap and bottle list. |
60 Visited with DCLawyer for a quick beer and bite before radagast83’s tasting. Clean sports bar right across the street from King Street Metro Station. Nice long bar with table seating around the perimeter. Service was fine. Didn’t peruse the beer menu since we just wanted to tick their house beer, Broken Leg Lager, but did notice a Starr Hill tap handle. Food was the usual sports bar fare, potato skins were decent though pairing them with BBQ sauce was a bit out of the ordinary. Chicken tenders were a bit pricey but better than I expected, Panko style rather than the usual breading. Wouldn’t go out of my way to visit but worth a quick stop if you’re already passing by, mainly for the house beer tick. |
68 Decent bar and restaurant. Appetizers are actually pretty nice. The Nachos are surprisingly good, not what I would have normally expected. Draft and bottle lists aren’t great, but the place has a few locals and a house beer made by Dominion. |
