Went in to try their coffee...(it was so-so)...behind I found OK selection of beers. Service was OK, they seems rather busy. Next time I just go to Public House.

I was passing through and saw Coffee and Beer shop on the sign on the outside. I said to myself, "self, this sounds like my type of venue." Of course, I had to stop in. And I was met by an extremely clean and inviting atmosphere from the staff and how everything was set up. Coffee bar and seats off to the left and beer bottles and cans off to the right. Some glassware for sale too. Bottles and cans were kept nice and neat and somewhat off to the back. Nice variety, a ton of New England breweries with some Goose Island, Victory, Alamanac, Founder’s, Brown’s, and Brooklyn. I didn’t have any food, but wow, boy, did it smell fabulous in there! The value, well, some of it seemed reasonable. To me, if you’re passing through, it’s worth a stop, but I wouldn’t make it a "Mecca" to stop at.

Visited a couple times on my visit to and through Stowe. It’s right on the main drag. Like the review before mine, it’s a combined coffee shop and beer store. Fun set up and perfect for me since I’m both a coffee and a beer nerd. The coffee was alright, better than Starbucks, so that’s a plus. The beer selection starts as soon as you walk in the doors on the right side, with the coffee shop part on the left. The majority of the beer is in the back right of the place, close to the restrooms. A few coolers with six packs, then a few shelves of room temp bottles and six packs. Predominantly local Vermont beer, cider, and mead. Really, it had a very good selection. As I already did, I would visit this place again. It’s pretty cool. The only knock on the place is that service is a bit cold. Not very friendly, but if I had to deal with tourists all day every day, I might be that way too!

This is a combined coffee shop, bakery and bottle shop. We popped in here for a sandwich and a soup for lunch (both of which were rather good) and then realised that they had a pretty decent selection of (mostly local) craft beer in cans and bottes in the back room. Not a must see, but a nice surprise to be able to pick up a six pack or two if you just drop in for a coffee or a bite as we did.
