Tsypa na Bessarabtsi

Visited in 2019. An absolutely lovely place, as it is within the great Bessarabian Food Market and looks basically like a wooden shack that you would expect to sell watermelons but it serves craft beer from 10 taps. And the watermelons are stacked outside, you can see them through the window. Sadly Tsypa beers are not exactly the creme de la creme, but the place itself is as authentic as can be.

Inside Bessarabtsi market you will find this great bar/bottle shop. Very tiny with 5-6 high stools to sit and drink. 10 beers on tap and at least 15 bottles in the fridge for takeaway. Beerlist on a big blackboard over the bar. Almost all from Tsypa, but I managed to find other brewers as well, and grabbed some bottles as well. Good service, no english spoken, but we managed . Recommended stop

Nice small taproom at Bessarabskiy Market, mainly Tsypa beer on taps, but sometimes interesting selection of ukrainian bottles, including beer from homebreweries.

This place is great, right in the middle of an indoor food market, Of course a large selection of Tsypa beers plus a couple of other gems from other Ukrainian/Kyiv breweries, friendly service, worth a visit just for the quirkiness.

Really cool place in the middle of a big market. It's a taproom and bottle shop, with Tsypa beers on tap and Tsypa plus other Ukrainian craft in bottles - with a selection I've not seen anywhere else. Friendly, English-speaking bartender. Prices are extremely low, even for Ukrainian craft standards. This was an excellent stop.

A beer store located in the central city market - Bessarabskiy Market. Here you can have 10 beers from the tap to go and a bottle selection of the Ukrainian local craft beer breweries.
