Now for a food I would recommend this place by aroma and atmosphere (didn't eat was full). For a beer I wouldn't recognize this place at all.

We came here on 1.2.2020 one hour before closing time (midnight). Would not classify this place as beer restaurant, but definitely has unique flair and should not be missed. Food was typical Austrian and very good (serving til midnight). Beer selection is nothing special (we were drinking wine).

WoW what a nice place! Absolutely a place to visit. Very good food also. But the beer selection was unfortunately not really good. Quite central location and not very difficult to find. The place is a deep cellar with different rooms.

Not a beer place at all, more a traditional "Heuriger". Only a handful of boring standard beers. Food is good and not too expensive. Service is OK. Location is really worth seeing, very old, very traditional Viennese, deep down in the cellar. Definitely worth a visit, but not for beer.

very beautiful location with two stairs underground like the tipical cellars of Vienna! Could be a perfect pub, but unfortunately they have only few bottles of beer... good typical food selection

A beautiful cellar bar, with a decoration so as the name is presuming. A very nice atmosphere. To little but freindly staff. The choice of beer is little and only on bottle. But it’s worth to visit this bar/restaurant.

First off, the atmosphere is incredibly cool. Sections of the walls date to the early 16th century and it is fairly deep in the ground. High vaulted ceilings and large tables. Ordered one of the meat platters and it was simply wonderful. Samples some of my friends cuisine and it was great as well. Beer selection could be better, but it has the staples of the region. This place is fairly secluded, but is close in proximity to St. Stephens.
