UPDATED: JAN 6, 2022 Bottiglia da 0,50. Schiuma assente. Colore noce. Carbonatura minima. Aromi di miele, amarene e frutta sciroppata ma anche castagne e cioccolata. Gusto delicato ma deciso; decisamente avvolgente. Finale breve e vinoso, dolcissimo che ricorda il vin santo. 'Birra da divano' dalla gradazione particolarmente elevata. Fatico ad annoverarla tra le birre. Solo per 'esploratori '. Consiglio 7/10.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2021 From oak cask at Open Baladin. Clear orange coloured with no head. Sweet and fruity aroma of dried fruits with notes of alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and dried fruits with notes alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2021 0.5l bottle thanks to Lore. Vintage 2015. Brown body with no head at all. Lots of caramel in the aroma and the taste with nutmeg, white pepper and a generous amount of booze. It also shows notes of chocolate and oak. And raisins and rum and dark sugar. Very complex and super sweet. Really, sweetness is turned up to 11 in this beer. Great one.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2021 Pour from bottle labelled XYAUYÙ Etichetta Oro/ Golden Label- RISERVA 2015. Pours deep amber, almost clear, with no head. Aroma: all the dried fruits - dates, raisins, plums, rum barrel & oak. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet (but not overdone) with moderate balanced bitterness, rich, oaky, more dried fruits, vanilla, rum, touch of booze. Slick mouthfeel, medium+ body with low carbonation. UPDATED: OCT 18, 2021 Flaske. Som del af en tager på baladin. Helt fløjlsblød dyb ravfarvet øl. Intet skumhoved. Dessert vin over i malvasia. Nærmest for meget. Varmer ekstremt.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2021 Nose is brown sugar, cane, caramel, dried flowers. In taste there are also nuts, nougat, Ofc it's a different beer but in a way it resembles me Potion #2 by Brokreacja. Really enjoyed it, saved the tasting flight. 4.2

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2021 [Uploaded from backlog - 7/18/18] 500ml bottle, thanks to alexsdad06 for sharing. Good bit of age on this one -- 2005 on the label. Interesting malty nose, like the aged JW Lees / Tom Hardy's english strong ales I've tried. Sherry, alcohol, dark fruit, caramel in the nose, definitely a strong, interesting smell. Bigger sweet taste. Definitely big raisin. Not as cloying sweet as some old old ales I've tried. Little warmth on the back end. Bigger, round body, sort of velvety. Little if any carbonation. Mild slick, but not sticky. Not bad, a lot better than I would expect a 13 yr old beer to be. This sort of flavor and character may be cherished by some. It's not what I prefer, but I can respect what it is..
