agervy (93) - , Quebec, CANADA - DEC 2, 2018UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 Loin d'être ma préférée du TDD. Peu d'amertume. Goût de bananes difficile à déceler. Descend bien malgré tout. Bouteille de 600ml. Rien de décevant, mais rien d'exceptionnel non plus. Je préfère de loin La Morsure, plus amère.
JFF (292) - - MAY 4, 2018UPDATED: MAY 4, 2018 Arômes de banane, grain, pêche. Mousse blanche, robe dorée trouble. En bouche, amertume surprenante pour le style, puis fruité et finish bien banane. Très effervescent.
AleRider78 (2690) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2017Pours a huge frothy head with thick dirty lacing and has a golden amber appearance. Mild malt aromas, as well as citrus and herbal hops. Some grains and light grassy scents. Malty flavour and some bitterness. Light yeasty notes and some mild spices. Also has strong citrus and resin hop flavours. Astringent and tingling mouthfeel/sensation. Smooth and somewhat slick, drying mouthfeel as well. Pretty good and not too bitter. Goes down real easy.
fkoolen (3514) - Eindhoven, NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2017 Draught @ Les 3 Singes, Colmar. Cloudy straw golden ale, white foamy head. Grainy, creamy and sweet malts, Belgian yeast spiciness and peppery, reminiscent of Tripel Karmeliet. Good body, low carbonation.
azzurro (1954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2017ma premiere TDD, j’avais très hate d’y gouter.
MissAnthropic (95) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 31, 2017Intense foam and hazy darkened straw. Deep fried bananas and a faint citrus nose, heavily carbonated. Almost chewy, a lighter yeast flavor with a clean banana and faintly tropical finish.
sulawang (1712) - - JAN 5, 2017Visual: (Their own bottle for their brewery, raised lettering and devil on the bottom, odd size 600ml). Pours almost clear pale light orange with smallish dissipating head, ringed retention, clusters of fast active streams.
Nose: light peachy banana wheat malt. (lvl-3)-pungency
Attack: smooth thick CO2, micro-tingly crisp
Mid-palate: bright fruity banana, (lvl-4-sweetness), pineapple grainy wheat malt, tangy light alcohol
Finish: bready barley malt, banana wheat malt exhale
Summary: Solid quality mouthfeel and a robust wheat-barley malt body. It made me feel bloated one glass in though.
hawthorne00 (6630) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 22, 2016Bottle. Hazy gold, head is 6 inches on the first pour. Aroma of toasted bread, vanilla, banana. Sweet biscuit and bread, some banana, spices creep up along with bitterness. Peach bubblegum. Palate has a convincingly German thorough maltiness that just falls away a little soon. Pretty good. No convinced it’s all that fresh, but there may be swings as well as roundabout there.
beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 5, 2016On tap at St. Augustine’s during 1st 45 taps annual event with Alex and Josh. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is wheat, fruity, slightly sour. Taste is smooth, fruity. Quite pleasant.
