UPDATED: AUG 12, 2020 Does everyone just automatically give these beers high marks? This is like a light IPA or a saison. I don't see what makes it a APA. It's good! Don't get me wrong.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 Light golden appearance with slight haze and a lacy white head. Aroma of lemon zest, fresh flowers, mild pineapple and light grains. Similar flavor, adding mild hop bitterness with some light juicy sweetness. Light to medium body with a light dry feel and a citrusy finish. Nice.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2019 Pours hazy pear into a shaker. Bright white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dusty melon and tropical fruit skin aromas. Soft with melon and citrus upfront turning to mild pith in the medium length finish.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 Tap. Reservoir, Waterbury VT. It’s ace to be back here after 3 years. Hazed pale gold. Super sticky, lasting, fine white head. Nose has lots of lemon and lime. Cut grass. Hint of weed. Fairly pronounced sweet, bready grain. Taste is crisp, fairly sharp bitterness. Decent malt sweetness. Light and clean mouthfeel. Fine, bright carbonation. Light lemon citrus bitterness to finish. Nice.

*9/13/2013 2L growler poured into a Hill Farmstead tasting glass. A~ glowing neon yellow, nice fat fluffy head and some lacing. S~ bright earth, pine and grass. Smells just like Vermont on this rainy day. Followed by a nice amount of citrus. Mostly unripe orange and lemon. T~ perfectly follows the nose with way more hop bitterness. The hoppy eathyness kind of takes over the citrus and transforms your palett from sweet to bitter in no time at all. M~ great carbonation of course, how many times do I have to say that haha. Very smooth and unbelievably refreshing! O~ an all around perfect 4! Complex, yet straight forward. I could drink this all day, perfect ABV and once again as refreshing as could be.

Note: 7+/10

Pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of fruits, perfumey tropical ones and oranges. Ultra satisfying. Taste is moderately bitter and dank with grassy oranges. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Overall a top tier Hill Farmstead single hop pale ale and a real treat!

Growler 750ml, bottle share. Couleur jaune pâle voilée, mousse blanche. Arôme de houblon résineux, agrumes, malt pâle, un peu herbal. Goût de houblon résineux, malt pâle, bonne amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.
