Our Märzen Beer is highly appreciated and popular far beyond the borders of Salzburg, and is characterised by its typical flavour. Its production uses Stadlau Pilsen and Kara-Extra-Hell malts, as well as Hallertau-Spalt-Select aromatic hops by Barth & Sohn, Nuremberg, to give the Märzen Beer its unique touch. Original wort: 4.6% alcohol by volume.

midovark (4274) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 20, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2021 Bottle shared at home, courtesy of Beerhunter111, thanks a lot! Pours semi clear golden with a quickly dissipating head. Nose and taste are hay, honey, bready malts, light herbal touches to it. Nicely balanced, easy to drink yet full of flavours. Tasty.

Quack-Duck (11277) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2019 bottle from Stiegl Getränkemarkt Salzburg. Golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Light- to medium-bodied with a shy but god malty base and shy, but again good and aromatic hoppy flavours, plus a lovely buttery Czech touch. Not extremely aromatic, rather timid, but highly quaffable.

pivnizub (12576) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 €-Flascherl (Díky mockrát, pane profesoře!): Deep golden, a bit unclear, creamy, stable and lacy white head, mild sweetish-bitter malty and flowery aroma with a 'bohemian' (buttery) twist; mild bitter-sweet flavour, soft, nearly medium bodied; mildly lingering buttery-malty finish with some delicate hoppy spots. Chapeau! Not the most aromatic brew, but a beer of the highest drinkability...

kappldav123 (8132) - Nordhausen, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy hoppy background. Finish well balanced, a bit boring malty. Okay.

jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - NOV 11, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2019 Pours a mostly clear golden yellow from the traditional wooden beer barrel, with a fluffy cap of white foam that dissipates fairly quickly in the ceramic glass. Aroma of clean pilsner and melanoidin malts, herbal and earthy hops, and a traditional German lager yeast. Taste follows, extremely crushable with a soft mouth from the lower carbonation, but loads of flavor. Really awesome, a real treat.

AlfredoGarcia (530) - Santiago, CHILE - JUN 16, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2019 500 ml bottle bought in Salzburg. Not a lot of smell, yeasty. Clear color low head. Fantastic beer taste!!! 😍 this is what beer is supooser to be.

CalumScotland (348) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - APR 6, 2019
UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Augustiner is renowned for brewing Munich’s best bier. As early as 1328, The Augustiner Brothers were brewing bier within the Augustinian monastery in Munich. With about 680 years of tradition, Augustinerbräu is the city’s oldest brewery and has survived many extensions without ever forgetting its philosophy or risking the quality of its bier. Augustinerbräu is mostly sweet with faint hints of honey and a soft bitterness on the aftertaste. Its pale yellow complexion and full white head is smooth and quaffable.
