UPDATED: NOV 15, 2021 12 ounce can. Pours a pitch black hue with a large light brown beige head. A huge wafting nose of coffee. Big peanut butter. Yep, that's the flavor, immense sweet milky coffee, huge peanut butter, chocolate. Sweet.

colui72 (3437) - Yuen Long, HONG KONG - MAY 29, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2021 Sumptuous chocolate and coffee aroma, with dark malts and brown sugar. Pours translucent dark brown, close to black, a little but creamy tan head with good retention and minor laces. Poured in a glass coffee cup it can fool your boss at work! Deliciously bitter-roasty and sweet, big on coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. Biscuity-waffle notes in the end. Light-medium body, creamy, some carbonation, very easy to drink. Massive coffee porter, that should be compulsory served in any coffee shop!

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2021 12oz can from Tavour. While coffee is not my favorite adjunct, I trust Hoppin' Frog wholeheartedly, and I'm not disappointed. Dark brown pour with a wispy tan head. Aroma is heavy on the chocolate, deep, rich, exquisite. Taste is more of the sumptuous chocolate, light bitter, roasty coffee notes backing it up. Wow! Excellent from start to finish and we'll worth the high accolades.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2021 [Tasting - Beder] Aroma: Milk chocolate, green coffee, cocoa nips and slightly roasted coffee Appearance: Dark brown-pitch black with medium sized fast disappearing brown head Taste: Mildly sweet and moderately bitter, coffee, slight liquorice, peppery, green coffee and slightly roasted Mouthfeel: Watery mouthfeel with low-moderate carbonation Overall: The mouthfeel is a little thin and the taste is weak, but overall a good porter!

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2020 12oz can courtesy of Headbanger. Color is a deep black with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is peanut butter and chocolate with faint roasted notes. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor comes in sweet with chocolate, peanut butter and roasted malt with only a hint of bitterness. Aftertaste is a little too sweet and the chocolate goes to a fake chocolate taste. Overall I don't like this much the flavors get a bit out of wack in the end.

tfontana (3801) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 14, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2020 Can (8/28/19) pour from Fort Point Market. Appearance is opaque black with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, thin fizzy ring of light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Taste follows aroma with sweet malt/chocolate/coffee initially followed by roasted bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation with late lively kick and bittersweet roasted finish as taste. Overall, the coffee holds up remarkably well considering the age. Nice strength and balance to the aroma and flavors and bitter/sweet.
