hopscotch (11918) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 5, 2014Growler... Pours lightly-hazed and golden with orange highlights and no head. The nose offers grapefruit, pine and a light musky component. Medium-bodied with laid-back carbonation. There’s a ton of juicy hop flavor, but very little bitterness. Just sour, fruity and bright. Stone fruit, key lime and lemon stand out. Crisp, sour finish. Bottle courtesy of ctipping!

jercraigs (13679) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 20142014-08-15. Hazy yellow body modest white head. 3++ Aroma of lemon like fruit and light funk. 7++ Flavour is refreshingly tart, eye opening, lemon and lime citrus. Average plus bodied palate, crisp effervescent carbonation. 3++ Wow. Hard to describe but the mix of the citrusy hops with the tart/sourness is close to perfect, making this eminently drinkable. Loved it. Amusingly I didn’t identify it as having any grape character, perhaps because I wasn’t looking for it. Huh. Growler labeled Hop Tart 3.0 at Campground Brewdown
argo0 (14125) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 19, 2014Growler at Campground Brewdown, thanks perigrinari. Medium off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, some lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some lemon, quite tart. Light body, light acidity. No idea where the "hop" in the name comes from, but the "tart" is easy.
MaxxDaddy (415) - Milford, Connecticut, USA - AUG 17, 2014On tap and from a growler. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma is full of citrus, funk, and a twinge of dank hops. Also get a bunch of white wine grape in there as well. Taste brings more citrus and acid, followed by a decent bit of hoppiness; nothing too crazy, but enough to know that it’s there. Super bright and crisp. Get some more grapes in there as it warms. Man, this is a real treat. Palate is medium with a decent amount of carbonation. Finishes tart with some quick bitterness. This was easily the standout beer from Pizza Boy when I was there; I only wish they had more good beers like this on tap. Really well done.
BeerandBlues2 (18499) - Woodland Park, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2014Tap at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy orange with a small, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is lactic grapes and lemon, spicy wheat malt, light black walnut notes. Flavor is lactic fruits, vinous notes, light oak, biscuit and wheat malt with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
