COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Dark orange with white head. Light hop aroma, grass and fir. Hoppish flavour, but has a strong malt spine. IPA like finish.

Drank from a can. Lacked freshness in aroma. Taste was inconsistent, but when good, was flavorful. Can imagine this tastes much better from the tap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of pine and grass. Tastes of grass, grapefruit and slight honeyed cereal. Not so bitter, but has a white pepper spiciness reminiscent of one of my favourite pilsners. Beautiful balance, simple flavours done well.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2017) Golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, grass, a touch of resin and lots of fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, bready malt and lots of fresh hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, with lots of fresh hops. Nice one.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2018 Guess I did not get a good one. Good-looking, but both smell and taste were covered by a cheesy thing that could not make me get to anything else. Bad luck? Probably.

rumore (3109) - Rimini, ITALY - FEB 15, 2018
Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours crisp gold with white foam, very fine. Aroma is floral and fruity. Body is dense and intensely carbonated. Taste is quite bitter. Finish is only relatively long and bitter.

3.7
maekchu (5321) - JAPAN - FEB 10, 2018
Can from Viilage Wine and Spirits in Athens, GA. Grassy nose, with some fruitiness and gentle pine. Hazy orange/amber color, offf-white head. Sweet fruity initial, and then some honey, resin, and long bitter tracks. Fairly dry finish. Medium body. This one certainly punches above its weight, with a rich aroma and cracking flavors, at only 6%. A couple months past its best-by date, but still very good.
