UPDATED: AUG 14, 2021 750 ml bottle from Tavour, 8/14/21. Listed at 5.5% ABV on the bottle. Pours a deep dark purple with a light purple head. Looks like a glass of Manischewitz. Berries and apple cider. Tons of sweetness. Gets a bit sticky / cloying, but still it is quite drinkable for something this sweet. Well made. Touch too sweet for my personal preference, but still definitely well made. 8/4/7/3/16

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2021 75 cl bottle @ LTM Takeover, Huikas. Pours dark purple color with a small pink head. Blueberries on the nose, dark berries, subtle heavy notes. Sweet blueberries on the flavor, hints of honey, faint sugar as well. Way too sweet.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2021 75 cl bottle (5,5%) @ Huikas Aroma has blueberry juice - and quite nothing else. Flavour has sweet honey, blueberry juice. Sweet all the way, drinkability suffers. Drinking whole bottle would be a challenge.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2020 Tap. Aroma is blueberry, honey, oak and matured apples. Dark red with pink head. Taste is blueberry, apple, honey, light sweet, light tannins. Finishes on a blueberry honey note.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2020 On tap. Soll im Fass nur 5.5% haben. Dunkelrot und klar, rosa Schaum. Intensiver Blaubeer Duft. Dazu Sherry und Pflaumenwein. Im Antrunk säuerlich-süss. Heidelbeeren, Brombeere, Apfel. Ein sanfter Hauch Honig im Abgang. Hat was von einem guten Sherry. Komplex, dennoch leicht. Gefällt mir gut. Und ja, es ist der Arizona Punkt 😉

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2020 Picked up at Costco. Big, bold blueberry flavors. Well balanced but somehow not making it well balanced. I feel sometimes like I’m drinking a normal cider, then just a blueberry juice, then cider again. Which I suppose is balance.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2020 750 ml swingtop. Aroma is blueberry, apple, wood. Pours clear dark purple with ruby red highlights and a collapsing purple-white head. Taste is moderately to highly tart, moderately sweet, finishing lightly dry, with flavors of blueberry, apple, oak, honey and vanilla. Mouthfeel is a bit velvety. A really good cider, but overrated a bit maybe? I've had better ciders with way worse ratings on this website.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2020 Cool swing-top 750ml bottle purchased at Khoury's Fine Wine & Spirits in Las Vegas in May 2019 on my way back from a mountain biking trip in southwest Utah ($21.99). POURS a lovely deep red wine tinged purple hue with a thin layer of white/violet foam. AROMA of jammy red wine, fresh crushed blueberries, grape Kool-Aid, Calvados (minus the strong alcohol nose), and some oak notes blending reminiscent of the red wine again. FLAVOR of tart but juicy blueberries, honeyed apples, slightly tannic yet smooth red wine, some raspberries with light oaky tones. Finishes juicy yet dry...if that is even possible...kind of a tannic / oaky dryness that allows the fruit to still shine. Light mouthfeel with a delightful mild effervescence. This was surprisingly complex all around with nice (sometimes contrasting) notes of sweet / sour / juicy / dry. Ranked here on RateBeer as the best flavored cider in the world, and certainly the best I have had. (161, 1165)
