JohnRMurdoch (5840) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JAN 12, 2017
330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy yellow amber, reasonable head. Boiled sweet hop aroma. Sweet creamy hop flavour. Very smooth. A great lager, a bit more like a pale ale.

Saeglopur (3713) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - NOV 27, 2016
330 ml bottle, bottled 07/07/16, bought at Utobeer Market Stall, London.
Dark golden, hazy body, with some yeast particles and a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, lychee, some pine, some grass.
Tastes similar, with some more biscuit and bready notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, a bit yeasty, lingering piney, citric, floral, a bit juicy.

Tasty. Very fresh, clean and crisp, with lots of juicy, citric hops, balanced by a piney spiciness and a moderate, sweet malt body. The balance is really great. Except a slightly lighter body, this has nothing in common with a typical Lager, outstanding take on the style!

Bottle, The Offie, Leicester. Hazy orange gold with a large foam. Bready yeast with lots of lemon. Zesty with lime. Herbal and floral with pear drop sweets. Sweet tropical with oranges. Another cloudwater winner. If this is lager its the best I’ve had.

Grain and bread malts, grapefruit, other bitter citrus fruits, tangerine. Slightly hazy gold, massive, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More citrus fruits, tangerine, grapefruit, orange, some tropical fruits appearing, mango, lively carbonation, medium bodied, bitter and slightly dry finish. This is how a Lager should taste like. Bottle from Hop Locker, Waterloo.

nihtila (5282) - Dunfermline, SCOTLAND - OCT 7, 2016
Bottle from Appellation wines. Clear pale golden, some yeast sediments, white head. Nose is dry hops, pine, thin maltiness. Hops dominate in taste, bitter citrus, thin malt bill, crisp. In a way its tasty but throwing loads of hops in strong lager leads to somehow unbalanced result. However, for a lager its excellent.
