Almost clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is quite light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Obvious but very mellifluous smoke. Nice mix of soft cranberry and mellow but pleasing red wine barrell. Trace of marmalade. Quite a light finish. Does its job well.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2021 0.33 l bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Amber, cloudy, no head. Vineous, tobacco flavours, sour plums and sweet ending. Quite interesting.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2021 Amber color with medium head. Aroma has caramel, spices and sweet fruits. Taste is malty sweet with long quite sweet aftertaste. Flavors of malt, caramel, juniper, wood.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 (Bottle, 0.33 l - bottled on 22.12.2017, from Alko, 20210424) The beer golden, oily and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had smoke, caramel and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, smoke, caramel, spiciness, malts, vineousness and bitterness. Aftertaste dry, warming, woody and bitter. A decent smoky and spicy brew with woody notes.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 33cl bottle. Amber color. Cheesy, sweet smoke with some red wine notes in the finish. Not a fan at all.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 Bottle at Ardes residence, Helsinki. Thanks mjs! Color is cloudy light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Caramel, some dry vineous elements, some fruits, some woody elements, dry berries... weird.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2021 33 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 22.12.2017. Aroma has grapefruit, red wine and mild balsamico tones. Palate is low on CO2. Flavour has oranges, grapefruit, red wine, balsamico. Mellow sourness. Finishes with some alcohol. Good. Rated on 2021-04-08.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2021 Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy orange-brown, small head. Aroma of red wine and juniper needles. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Honey, red wine and juniper needles. Very nice, but not anything like gotlandsdricka.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2021 Barwa złota, zamglone, ale na dnie butelki bardzo dużo osadu. Przy nalewaniu gęste, oleiste, prawie bez piany. W aromacie słodko, jest karmel, miód, perfumy, jałowiec, nuty jasnych piw belgijskich. Beczki nie czuję. W smaku również sporo Belgii, dalej zioła, iglaki, przyprawy, karmel. Gdzieś daleko w tle da się wyczuć beczkę po winie, ale jak dla mnie mogłaby być bardziej intensywna. Ciało wysokie, wysycenie o dziwo również, czego podczas nalewania nie było widać. Ciekawe piwo, naprawdę dobre.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2021 Wygląd: bursztynowe, przejrzyste, z pływającymi drobinkami osadów, bez piany. Aromat: landrynki, morele, ciasteczka, czerwone wino, przyprawy, leciutki anyż, jakieś zioła? Smak: słodycz wysoka, wysycenie średnie, jakieś przyprawy do mięsa?, fenole. Dziwne, wielowymiarowe. Trochę kojarzące się z Belgią, ale ziołowe, nie kojarzące się z chmielem.
