COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Seesaw Series is our gose playground. Designed to capture delight and fun in the form of an easy-drinking and flavorful beer. Each Seesaw has a unique fruit addition to pair with balanced tartness, a touch of salinity, and ABV on the lower side. The nostalgic thrill of warm-weather fun, reimagined in one of our favorite styles. The number of Seesaws dictates once, twice, or three times the fruit added. Double Seesaw: Black Currant pours a deep beet red and entices the nose with floral aromas of freshly picked rose hips and black currant compote. Waves of dark fruity jam wash over the palate displaying deep flavors of ripe black currant, earthy dark cherry and sharp raspberry. It offers a medium to full body with a subtle, refreshingly tart finish balanced by a gentle salinity. MALT: Pale Malt, White Wheat HOPS: CTZ

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2018 16oz can. Pours a beautiful, dark beet red color with a purple hue and capped by a thin pink layer of foam that settles in quickly to a thin film and leaves streaks of lace around the glass. The aroma is really nice showing notes jammy black currants, tart berries, grape skins, and cherries to go with crisp wheat, cereal malts, and lactic acidity with some saltiness as well. The flavor follows suit with the tannic and jammy berries and black currants right up front and backed up nicely by the crisp wheat and cereal malts and a crisp lactic sourness and salinity on the back end. The salt really helps cut through the acidity. The currants are bright and fruity and are the real star here. Light in body with ample carbonation that leads to a clean, crisp, and slightly tart black currant finish with some lingering salinity after each sip. The base Gose is really nice and provides a perfect base for the fruit additions. This is really good stuff.

16 oz. can from seeswo - thanks again, Chris! Pours a really deep violet, opaque beet juice with a finger of dark pink head that settles into an uneven ring and nearly complete film. Notes of black currants, black cherries, raspberries, blackberries, sourdough, grape skins, lemon, rich florals, lactic funk, and some salt. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart, fruity, rich mouthfeel. Really tasty.

Draft at Armsby Abbey. Pours ruby red with a reddish head. It looks like the keg is bleeding out when poured. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Definitely has a jammy feel on the nose and tongue with the black currant action very, very strong as well tart notes. Finished clean. Tasty but I don’t think I could have more than one.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2019 Beautiful beer - deep purple with pink head. Jammy nose and flavor, drinks more like juice than gose just like the raspberry.

Canned 9/13 and 9/28, drunk 9/27 and 10/10/18.
Cloudy blackberry, nice and "thick" looking. Blood-colored head is large and recedes slowly to cover.
Oh yeah, black currant is niiiiice! Peppery, tart, tannic, poignant and bright. Dry on the end with wheat, cereal and biscuit and little/no lactic acidity, little/no salinity. It's definitely got a good malt/wheat base behind it, but really highlights the wonderful fruit. It's done here so nicely and is bursting forth. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth, especially in the second, older can, I get chocolate, light cigar and even some smoke phenols. Otherwise it's full-on tart, tannic, spicy, peppery, juicy currant. Flavorful, bright and bold, but never getting too sour from any excess lactic acidity. Definitely puckering when young, though. Substantial, malty texture with tight carbonation and high attenuation leading to biscuit and nutty wheat-like notes on the end. Spicy, peppery, tannin is amazing. My favorite of their "goses" yet.

Can shared with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a deep purple body with pink lace. Nose is super tart, jammy berry character. Lots of earthy vines as well. Salinity dominates the palate which adds a nice balance by cutting the fruit/acidity.

bookman10 (3681) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - OCT 7, 2018
Pours a deep, reddish-purple, with minimal head. Aromas of lactic acid and berries. Flavor is sour berry, some lactic acid, just a hint of salt in the finish. Pretty tasty.

Pours wild duck into a snifter. Magenta head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Dark, dusty red grape aromas. Soft with tart apple and black currant upfront turning to dusty summer fruit skins and earthy funk in the lasting finish.
