UPDATED: DEC 7, 2018 12 oz can from variety pack. Smells a little piney and chocolaty. Dark brown in color. Tastes of coffee, sweet malt, and pine, interesting combination. Nice bitter sweet finish.

can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, deep mahogany brown, tan head that sinks to a thick cover, lace starfields. Taste is rich burlap-y malt with chocolate overtones that grows into a medium carbonated swallow, only to be swatted aside by edgy neutral bittering. The two sides don't have anything in common, making this a nearly good brew

Can from the case pack. Lovely dark ruby brown color. Foamy tan head. Rich and roasty. Good bitterness. Not too dry. Quite tasty.

BuckeyeBoy (14695) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 5, 2018
12oz can pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a sand head. Nose is a nice mix if roast coffee ash malts and pine crisp hops. Taste is more of the nice roast combo with a pithy pine hop. Classic black ipa

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2018 Doesn’t taste much like IPA anything to me. Maybe it’s a hoppy stout? I mainly taste stout. Enjoyable when I get it as part of a 21st amendment mixed pack, but I wouldn’t buy a six pack of it otherwise. Guinness with an extra kick.

taste is a hoppy light stout...unusual style but hops and stouts are what many crave, and hence we beer men make
