UPDATED: JUN 6, 2021 Dark brown body with a big, frothy, vanishing but good lacing off-white/beige head. Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla, cookies. Taste is fruity, spicy, malty. Caramel and cinnamon. Spicy and fruity finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 Can. Hazy brown with thick white head. Aroma of spices, chocolade, sweet malt. Taste, dark malt, chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2020 Brown ale with tan head. A sweet vanilla and spice start with a bitter finish. Nice holiday ale. Great artwork on the can also!

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2020 Nothing special here. Just another beer I would like to forget. Somewhat strong boozy flavor. Not crazy about the flavor and everything else about this beer.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 A lot of spice in this one. It’s not as malty as I thought it would be, but a little bitterness at the end. But it’s good, just not really a beer I style that I drink. As far as holiday brown ale goes though it is above average.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 (Can) Clear, dark chestnut body with a medium tan head and thin lacing. Sweet malty aroma with spices (nutmeg, allspice). Medium-plus body with some fine carbonation. Flavor is moderately sweet, spiced, vanilla; nutty and malty.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2019 Deep mahogony pour, finger plus tan head. Nose is full of spices, nutmeg standing out. Middle has medium bodied dark malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and some charred wood. Finish is surprisingly thin, with an eggnog like send off. It's complicated

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Clear amber, tall and lasting head. Light nose of chocolate. Full body, flavorful, smooth and foamy texture, well carbonated, moderately hot, lingering, bitter but tasty aftertaste. Bitter, off sweet, crisp, very well balanced. Roast, malty, resinous, syrupy, herbal, cinnamon, cloves, maple, caramel, brown sugar, Very enjoyable, the right thing to sip by the fireside.
