COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like FDR’s Depression-Era Radio Addresses, which were like a kick in the butt and a hug at the same time, our Fireside Chat is a subtle twist on the traditional seasonal brew. We begin with a rich, dark, English-style ale and then we improvise with spices until we know we have a beer worth sharing with the nation. Celebrating the right to be original.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2020 Nothing special here. Just another beer I would like to forget. Somewhat strong boozy flavor. Not crazy about the flavor and everything else about this beer.

luv2brew (199) - Chesterfield, Virginia, USA - DEC 29, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 A lot of spice in this one. It’s not as malty as I thought it would be, but a little bitterness at the end. But it’s good, just not really a beer I style that I drink. As far as holiday brown ale goes though it is above average.

jb (4388) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 28, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 A bit of a standard winter ale. American style that is. Spicy, thin beer, not a lot going on. Will not repeat, not my thing. On tap at Marshall street.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2019 Deep mahogony pour, finger plus tan head. Nose is full of spices, nutmeg standing out. Middle has medium bodied dark malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and some charred wood. Finish is surprisingly thin, with an eggnog like send off. It's complicated
