UPDATED: JUN 28, 2021 Decent cereal/wheat tasting ale with a nice background of legitimate watermelon flavor. No sweetness that is cloying. Nice refresher.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2020 It pours a hazy pale amber color with a large white persistent head. It has a nice wheat aroma with just a hint of watermelon. This is a well made and extremely refreshing beer. The fruit flavor is perfectly subtle. I should have tried this beer much sooner.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 Yes, drink this one. It is a summer holdover I found in the back of the refrigerator which is going down especially well after a long day of backbreaking work clearing land and building stone walls and dealing with the town pulling permits for a whole lot of work already accomplished. I look forward to drinking this one again.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2020 On paper this should have really been up my alley; I like wheat beers, I like watermelon, and I'm not bothered by unconventional flavorings. Sadly, this one didn't click for me. At the risk of sounding harsh, the watermelon flavor was less 'watermelon' and more 'Watermelon Four Loko;' maybe that taste association is an issue on my end, but regardless, I couldn't shake it. I feel bad that I didn't care for it, so I want to try something else from this brewery soon.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2020 12 ounce can at The Winking Lizard in Copley, Ohio. Smell both watermelon and wheat. Clear golden in color with white head. Taste like watermelon rind. Got some wheat to the taste also. Smooth and light bodied. Has a sweetness and watermelon finish. Nice summer beer. Cheers!

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2020 Can. Poured a clear golden color with a thin white top. Taste of wheat malt, watermelon, with a crisp finish. Medium carbonation, medium body. Overall, watermelon beers are hit and usually miss, but this one is on point.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2020 Beautiful pale appearance with white head that held briefly. No significant aroma of fruit or wheat or yeast. Sharp tingling mouthfeel. But positive points for being a very sessionable summer beer.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2020 Keg at The Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR on 25/07/2008. Watermelon is a fairly subtle flavour, so the fruitiness in this wasn’t overpowering. A nice, and fairly refreshing wheat beer.
