UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 2013 bottle. Slightly cloudy orange with no head. Still (of course). Wet wood, dusty cellar, horesblanket, old newspaper. Citrus and leather lingering.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2021 Many thanks for this half champagne bottle to tderoeck. Vintage 2012 (bottled 13/04/2012, BBF 04/2022). Smaczne, pachnie dzikoscia, debowa beczka, nieco przetworami z bialej porzeczki i agrestu. troche cierpkosci kiwi, sporo ciala jak na lambika, piany praktycznie nie bylo, blyskawicznie zniknela niczym skrzypce Stradivariego z Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie podczas II wojny. ciemno pomaranczowa barwa z drobinkami drozdzowymi. Biszkoptowo-kwaskowy posmak. Jest wytrawnie, a nawet lekko chmielnie.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2020 375 ml bottle. Amber orange, clear, with a few bubbles.nose is aged lambic: leather, citrus, oak, dust, old books, apples.flavor is bright and acidic, sharp, crystal, funky. Citrus, leather. Light carbonation. Quite bright and tasty for an oude.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2020 Bottle, 375 ml, at Lambikodroom. Courtesy of and shared with Rubin77. Cloudy orange golden with short lasting minimal white head. Funk, cellar, leather, citric notes, barnyard, medium to heavy sourness. Smooth.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 37,5cl bottle (as vintage 2013, bottled 02/05/2013, BBF: 05/2023) shared with Iznogud @ 3 Fonteinen lambik-O-droom (visited 31/10/2019). F: no real, some bubbles. C: deep gold to almost amber, clear before adding yeasty sediment from bottom of the bottle which aged horizontally. A: light malty, almost bready, fruity, rhubarb, lemon, woody, barnyard. T: medium malty base, nice soft lemon, citrus, bready, bit honey, no carbonation, light puckering, white grapes, nice funky, woody, bit brett, very nice as I expected, fully enjoyed.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2019 Bottle, vintage 2013. Pours amber. Aroma and flavor are sour, bitter, some sweetness, acidity, funk, oak. Finish has some acidity and dryness.Overall:good

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2019 Mise en bouteille 2013 - Robe ambrée, fine mousse peu persistante. Le nez laisse apparaître des notes évolutives, mirabelle, vieux lambic et bois. La bouche est également plus fondue mais moins complexe, du fruit, une bulle discrète, une acidité fondue mais une belle finale équilibrée. Une gueuze vieillie et prête à boire

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2019 375ml bottle @ the office. Pours a mostly clear copper colour with no head. Nose is full of great lambic funk with a wood note. Flavour is lovely funk, leather, and light wood. Light bodied, no carbonation, and a mild sweetness with a very balanced acidity. Wow this is very tasty.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2019 Bottle, 2013. Light amber colour. No head, as it pours almost flat. The aroma has some pretty big leather, notes of honey. On the palate, it's fairly flat, with a moderate tartness, light leather notes, maybe a bit of brett. Soft body. Interesting. The softness is fun, the leather is good, now it doesn't have a massive amount of complexity relative to some other 3F beers. I'd say funky and unique are the best words.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2019 Bottle. Slightly hazy dark orange, no head. Aroma of barnyard, hay, oak, herbs. Sour, funky, herbal, wood, Brett, citrus, apples skin, light lemon peel bitterness. Medium-bodied, low carbonation, dry. Complex and great.
