fiery1 (4103) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2019UPDATED: JUL 25, 2019 375ml bottle @ the office. Pours a mostly clear copper colour with no head. Nose is full of great lambic funk with a wood note. Flavour is lovely funk, leather, and light wood. Light bodied, no carbonation, and a mild sweetness with a very balanced acidity. Wow this is very tasty.
Oakes (26757) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2019UPDATED: JUL 25, 2019 Bottle, 2013. Light amber colour. No head, as it pours almost flat. The aroma has some pretty big leather, notes of honey. On the palate, it's fairly flat, with a moderate tartness, light leather notes, maybe a bit of brett. Soft body. Interesting. The softness is fun, the leather is good, now it doesn't have a massive amount of complexity relative to some other 3F beers. I'd say funky and unique are the best words.
