UPDATED: SEP 13, 2019 Strong banana on the nose. Very yellow in colour, not terribly opaque - quite clear. Slight copper and banana flavour

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2019 Bottle. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma has wheat notes, some banana and fruits. Wheaty taste, banana, some fruitiness. Basic hefe.

Draught at the brewery. Pours a hazy pale gold, with a moderate white head, which lasts well. Fruity notes and spice in the aroma. Mild spice hops up front, sweetness in the mid-palate. Banana and cloves to finish, but somewhat more muted than I usually expect in a weizen. Average.

Pours well, but head soon disappears. Easy drinking - not a lot going on - bit of cereal malt and hops bitterness, slight citric, clove and lemon aroma.... Sweet finish

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Banana, bread, bubblegum, little pepper and clove. Good body.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 On tap at the brewpub in Manly. Pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma: sweetish, wheat, cereal malts, bread, light banana & clove. Taste: light sweet, yeasty, floral, citrus, light esters, banana & clove. Light bodied, frothy carb, light sweet slightly bitter finish

Sweet grain and cereal malts, wheat, molasses, esters. Hazy gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More sweet grain and cereal malts, caramel, molasses, esters, yeast, wheat, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent. Keg at the brewpub, Manly.

On tap at 4 pines Sydney. Lite body. Banana notes. Not a bad little hefeweizen.

For my uneducated palate (Hefe isn’t my preferred style), this is a great drink - its low on esters (mercifully) and highly citrus - slight sourness makes it highly drinkable and refreshing for me - leaves a very clean palate - I much prefer this to most other Hefes.
