thebionn (192) - - MAY 14, 2020UPDATED: MAY 15, 2020 330 mL bottle, from the brewery. Woah! The smokiness! How would this go with smoky rashers? This is an interesting taste, not one that could be sessionable I'd imagine. Decent. Not as good as the Flat White, I think. Building up to the iStout, but that might have to wait until tomorrow.

alexsdad06 (16451) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2019UPDATED: AUG 6, 2019 This is a backlog rating from 2011 from a bottle shared by Tmoney99, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time. Words to describe this beer are roasted malts, dark chocolate, woody smoked malts, nice smoked character.

Attack: fizzy crisp, incoming deep dark malt

Overall: a good measure of smoke that is enjoyable but gets too heavy one glass in. Still good though.
chips88 (7) - - APR 12, 2019 does not count UPDATED: APR 12, 2019 Taste of Roast Bacon & smoked fish on the nose. Elegant on the palate, close to offensive on the nose. Fun to have with the crewsdem to challenge noses and pallets alike. Deserty smoked jam and spices for miles.
