UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 33 cl bottle served in a snifter glass. Poured thick black with small half finger tan head that dissipated immediately. Aroma: Chocolate, vanilla, toffee, plums, raisins, sweet roasted malts. Taste: dark bitter chocolate, vanilla, sultana, booze, plums, dried dark fruit, molasses, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, fudge, oatmeal raisin cookies, Nutella, brownies. Chewy and gloopy mouthfeel. Full body with a boozy roasted bittersweet finish. What is bit of lacking in the aroma makes it double up in the taste...that mouthfeel is amazing! What an amazing roasted monster this is...BOOOOM!!!

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2021 Can pour at the brewery. Inky black, thin ring of tan head. Not a lot of adjuncts here, just a brew that embraces the essence of an imperial stout, big roasty malts, dark chocolate, coffee bitterness. Simple but oh so rich and luxurious

juiceisloose (3665) - Windermere, Florida, USA - FEB 8, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2021 12 oz bottle. Pours pitch black in color and capped by a thin tan layer of foam that fades quickly to the body below. The aroma shows notes of dark chocolate, burnt caramel, earthy roast, and some star anise over a dark roasted malt base with ample boozy alcohol. The flavor follows with the rich dark chocolate, toasted caramel, some vanilla, and earthy grains to go with the dark roasted and black patent malts with a firm bitterness on the back end with some boozy warmth. Full bodied and smooth with soft carbonation that leads to a moderately bitter sweet dark chocolate, burnt caramel, toasted grains, and earthy roast on the finish with some lingering boozy warmth. You can tell this one packs a punch but it doesn’t drink like 16% abv at all. Good flavor and impressive stuff for being so high in alcohol.
