UPDATED: AUG 31, 2019 Bottle from BioCoop, Uzes, Provence, France. Hazy brown with a massive white head of rocky foam. It has a malty, dried fruit and burnt toffee flavour with red fruit and a slight roasted finish. Good.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2019 Grand col de mousse beige, bière de couleur caramel clair. Au nez, le caramel, malts. En bouche, bel assemblage pour cette jeune brasserie, c'est léger, caramel, malts sucrés dans un joli flacon.

Robe ambré sombre, nuances rouges, très belle mousse rousse. Nez malté, toasté, pointe sucrée. En bouche, le grillé domine, belle rondeur, très légère amertume en deuxième bouche. On est sur de l'ambrée lambda, même si c'est assez bien fait.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2019 Copenhagen 5/5 2018. 33 cl cute little bottle from Vinbørsen. Simple drawing of building on the label. Simple design. Pours hazy amber with bubbly, yellowish head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is sweetish and fairly intense. Caramel, roasted malts, metallic notes - but not of the boozy kind. Light carbonation. Thin texture. Flavor is sweetish. Not much bitterness present. Aftertaste is lightly roasty and sweetish. Nice aroma but a tad too thin to be truly good.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2020 Ambrée de 5,5 % abv. Couleur ambre roux foncé, dont il est amusant de constater qu’il est plus prononcé que celui de la double de la même brasserie … Mousse beige foncé. Arômes de boisé et de cramique. 1ère bouche pétillante, avec pointe de fruits et levure. Arrière-bouche fugace. 2ème avec baies, pointe de réglisse. Arrière-bouche très courte. La longueur est agréable, mais sans note réellement valorisante, et sans tenue en bouche. Alcool banal, il n’apporte rien. Finale simple. CONCLUSION : de l’ambré conventionnel, juste pour un rafraîchissement. Celle-là vous pouvez la mettre au frigo, cela ne peut que lui être profitable ...
